I should start by saying that videography was one of the most important things to me for my wedding - photos "tell a story" so to speak, but video captures the mood and all the intangibles that printed pictures simply cannot. Plus, you can intertwine meaningful music and weave the vows and other audio pieces in and out to remember what was said.

I interviewed a handul of videographers prior to Steve, and while they were professional and high ranking, none matched his level of passion, skill, customer service, and dedication to excellence. For the perfect film, only Sterling Cinematics would do. (Did I mention they were also at least a thousand dollars less than some of the "big name" folks around Atlanta?) Not a tough decision.

Things you should know about Sterling Cinematics:
1) Steve pours himself into his craft, from the in-depth consultation, to the behind-the-scenes details the day of, to the production and packaging of the video itself. He is extremely responsive to email and phone calls, and his primary goal is to go above and beyond for his brides. He listens with intentionality, and helped me work my ideas into the film brilliantly. This made the whole video so personal.

2) Steve's work is exquisite. He has an eye for detail and captures the minutia of the day, weaving a gorgeous story. He is also sentimental and realizes the value brides place on things that others would see as "ordinary." I worked hard to incorporate many meaningful family heirlooms and details into my ceremony, and Steve captured every single one. I take part in minor video editing where I work, and I can tell you it takes great skill, patience, and artistry to splice and edit, rearrange, and perfect a video. Steve is beyond gifted in putting together a final product that is outstanding and worthy of my brother's comment "if he ever wanted to sell another video, all he'd have to do is show someone this."

3) Steve is professional, and on the day of did not get in the way - you wouldn't have even known he was there. When my parents told others "I can't wait to see the video," they responded, "was someone filming?" The unobtrusiveness was extremely important to me and very well heeded.

I'm not typically one to review things online, but I stand by Steve's work as the best available in the Atlanta area. You will not be disappointed!
