Absolutely. Not being a pastor of a congregation, that describes most of the weddings I am privileged to lead.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
That is really at the core of my approach. My practice is to email a number of ceremonies to couples for them to edit, cut, and paste. They include traditional and nontraditional, religious and not, even family vows.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes. I encourage it if they are so inclined.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Not that they MUST choose, but some from which they MAY choose.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Yes, depending upon the location and time.
