The San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers is a San Francisco area attraction and special events venue. This unique and historic facility located in Golden Gate Park boasts five exhibit spaces with exotic plants and flowers from all over the world. A stunning Victorian masterpiece with beautiful and eye-catching botanicals, the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers provides a unique and natural backdrop for your upcoming wedding nuptials.
Facilities and Capacity
Each gallery of the Conservatory of Flowers showcases unique plants and flowers, custom metal work and architectural beauty throughout the building. The Conservatory also has additional spaces available for rentals including Palm Terrace, a pavilion and bridal lounge or breakout room. The Palm Terrace is an al fresco space with views of the Conservatory Valley flowerbeds and Sutro Tower with a backdrop of the magnificent Victorian Conservatory to accommodate up to 200 wedding guests. The beautifully manicured East and West Terrace Lawns are located just in front of the Conservatory. The Conservatory is perfect for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and showcase unique and tropical botanicals. The Orchard Pavilion is an industrial space with capacity for up to 150 wedding guests.

History
At more than a century old, this Victorian structure is the oldest public wood and glass conservatory in North America. The Conservatory opened to the pubic in 1879 and was an instant sensation in Golden Gate Park. As a city, state and national historic landmark, the Conservatory remains one of the most photographed and beloved San Francisco attractions.
