Wedding photography with a fresh, creative, and unobtrusive approach. Ryan Trupp Photography is based in the New York City area but would be happy to travel wherever your wedding may be located.
I have a photojournalistic and artistic approach to wedding photography, but above all else, my goal is to keep the bride and groom relaxed. The more relaxed you are, the better the pictures! I capture people being themselves...on a really good day! Packages start at just $899.
I would love to hear from you. Please visit my website for more information:

Frequently Asked Questions
How would you identify your photographic style? unobtrusive photojournalistic. I love shooting situations as they unfold naturally, but I also want to make sure you are at ease and looking your best so I am not afraid to give suggestions throughout the day.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? All of the images from your wedding will be adjusted for color correction and composition to bring out the best in each image. I also convert some images to black and white but also provide you with the color version.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I shoot with a soft fill flash when necessary but I try and stick to using the available light whenever possible. You spent a lot of time and effort to get the lighting just right, I don’t want to ruin it with a big flash!
Is your media preference film or digital? 100% digital
How many photographers do you work with? I am the primary photographer but I travel with an assistant who may take some supplemental shots along the way.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? I keep 2 cameras on me with a variety of lenses and on camera flashes. I don't bog myself with a lot of excess gear. This keeps me free to move around so I don't miss a shot.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes, I basically have a backup for every step along the way.
Do you charge hourly or full day? I have 2 pricing structures: by the hour or unlimited coverage for a full day. This way you can choose a package to best fit your needs and budget.
If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime? My rate is $100 per hour for time requested beyond our agreed upon time. Say the reception is really going and you want more pictures, you can request extra time from me at any point in the evening.
Do you charge for travel? There are no travel expenses for events within New York City and surrounding boroughs. Travel expenses outside of New York City include train fare and travel to and from train station.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? I have your images posted within one week after your wedding day.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? You will have access to a password protected website and you will also receive a hardbound proof album.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple? Yes. You will also receive a CD with all the full resolution images to keep.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery? After your event, I will post all the images from your day. You then have the option to hide/delete any images you don't want your friends and family to see. If you are happy with the images, you release them to your friends and family, giving them the opportunity to log in with a password and view the images.
What kind of albums do you offer? I offer a guest book filled with images from your engagement session as well as a personally designed flush mount, leather bound album.
When will I get the final book? Once you have decided on a layout you like, the book will arrive in about 4 to 6 weeks.
