Catering for events at Red Butte Garden must be arranged through one of our exclusive caterers. Whether you are planning a casual open-house or a formal dinner, our professional caterers will create the event of your dreams.
All of your other event needs (music, decor, photography, etc.) may be arranged through the vendors of your choice.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Alcohol is permitted, but it must be arranged through one of our caterers, who do have liquor licences.

By inviting your guests to the Garden you are giving them a wonderful gift – a place of beauty and relaxation, a place to laugh and visit with loved ones, and a place to take a quiet moment to walk through the gardens.
Where are weddings held and how many guests can you accommodate?
The Orangerie & Fragrance Garden:
Available year round, the Orangerie accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated dinner, or up to 400 guests for an open-house style event. During the warmer months, the rental fee of the Orangerie includes the option to hold a ceremony in the Fragrance Garden, which allows seating for up to 150 guests.
The Amphitheater & Rose Garden:
During the summer months receptions may be held in the Amphitheater, and includes the option to hold a ceremony in the adjacent Rose Garden. These spaces offer a variety of options for event set-up, accommodating varying numbers of guests. Please contact us for more details.
