The best experience

Red Butte was absolutely stunning for our wedding! We rented the rose garden and rose house and received so many compliments on how beautiful our venue was. Their team/staff was amazing!! Highly recommend

Excellent venue

We booked Red Butte Garden for our ceremony as this was the first place we ever went on a date so it was very romantic and meaningful to have our ceremony here. They are an LGBTQ friendly venue which was important to us for our nontraditional ceremony. The event coordination team, specifically Liz, was terrific. Our day went flawlessly. And now we will be able to visit and stroll down the same path we walked down the aisle to, every spring when the wisteria blooms.

Gorgeous Venue and Amazing Team

We had our wedding at the Red Butte Rose Garden and couldn't imagine it going any better even if we tried. The wedding planning team at Red Butte was very responsive and took the time to get all of our details right. Having two site visits helped us picture our day as well and it turned out amazing. Having such an amazing venue that felt small and intimate, yet so close to an international airport for our out of town guests was perfect!

Absolute dream venue with an amazing team!

We booked this venue in 2020 after falling in love with the gorgeous rose garden and of course we couldn’t have the original wedding but the wedding team at the garden were so incredibly kind and helpful during that awful situation. We were able to rebook for this June and the wedding was everything we dreamed of, absolutely stunning and Amy and Liz were so incredibly helpful the whole time. The red butte was the absolute perfect place for our wedding and I am so glad we got to have our prefect day here.

Perfect for any time year!

My husband and I got married in L'Orangerie in January and it was absolutely a dream come true. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was our spot. The staff was so helpful, attentive, and made the day of run so smoothly. We took our pictures in the garden, and L'Orangerie was a verdant, lush backdrop for our wedding and reception.

Perfect in every way possible

We chose the Rose Garden and Rose House for our wedding ceremony and reception at Red Butte and it was unbelievably perfect. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and the Rose House has such a unique and modern vibe that fit so well with our aesthetic. The venue was perfect for our small, intimate wedding. Robin and the event staff were wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and all of our guests loved it!

Beautiful Place - Amazing People

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! What a venue. What incredible Great people! I can not say enough about how perfect Red Butte Gardens and their staff were for our wedding. Robin and her crew were so good to us and our guest during the whole process. We had many out of town guest that wanted to see the venue before the big day, and she accommodated all our needs. These was my first time to plan a wedding, as a Mom, and she and Annie were so kind to help with all my questions and give advice to all my needs. They have list of vendors that help your day go smoothly, some I used, some I found on my own, either way they treated them all so well. The night of the wedding, they had people lined up to help with ever detail, and boy did they. Many guest said it was the Best wedding event they had ever went to. I truly can not say enough about how great the evening was. Thanks so much to all the wonderful people that make it happen.

Perfect place to get married

We loved having our wedding at Red Butte Gardens. My husband and I have been going there for years and knew that when we decided to get married, that we would want to have our wedding there. It was a dream come true.

Out of this world.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is amazing, friendly, and so helpful. They really make you feel special. I loved that this venue did not nickel and dime me for little add ons or anything, it's pretty straight forward. You get to use all the tables and chairs they have, they also have 5 big easels you can use, which was awesome. I really felt like I didn't have to deal with anything on the big day, because they took care of everything. I don't regret having my wedding here at all. The only negative thing I can even think to say is I wish you got more than 2 hours to set everything up and more than 1 hour to take everything down and be out of there, also when we showed up, I feel like the tables should've already been set up and placed since we did a walk thru and they had a map. Since you only get those 2 hours, that would've been more helpful. Other than that, this venue is gorgeous and amazing. I LOVED that I got married here.

Enchanting outdoor setting

Red Butte Garden surpassed our expectations for a venue. They were with us every step of the way including the day of to make sure everything went smoothly. If you want a fairytale location for your dream wedding this is the place!!! The fragrance garden for the ceremony is enchanting and the Orangarie for the reception is perfect!

The Fragrance Garden (ceremony) and Orangerie (reception) were stunning. I can't imagine a more tranquil or picturesque location. Denise, Natalie and team were easy to work with and took the stress out of the day-of coordination. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding.

We loved having our wedding ceremony and reception at Red Butte. We had ours in February in the Orangerie and it was stunning! Robin, Denise, and everyone at Red Butte were amazingly responsive, flexible, accommodating, and reliable. It was a real pleasure to work with them, the venue was perfect! I absolutely loved having my wedding at Red Butte Garden. Robin and Denise were fantastic to work with. Everything went so smoothly and my wedding was a total dream. I had my ceremony out in the Fragrance Garden and my reception in the Orangerie, and both were so beautiful. They were very accommodating to my guests and even had golf cart rides for my grandparents so they didn't need to walk very far. They also give you a free one year membership to the gardens after the wedding. I definitely recommend having your wedding at Red Butte Garden.!

Red Butte Garden was wonderful! Robin and Denise were very responsive to any emails or questions we had and they were SO professional on the day of our wedding. Everything went without a hitch! I would recommend them to anyone who will listen.

I'll just second all the rave reviews for this place. Denise and Robin are the best. Easy to reach, easy to work with. Day of staff were so helpful, so friendly. The golf cart they provide during the event for photos around the garden grounds, as well as for guests with limited mobility for the ceremony site, was a huge plus.
The garden itself is impeccable. Truly, just out-of-this-world gorgeous. The indoor facilities for reception are so beautiful as well. The price was right as well. Man, am I glad my wedding was there.

Red Butte Gardens was the perfect venue for us. It was absolutely gorgeous!! We had a sophisticated event, and were able to be in the mountains. The staff was wonderful!

This was an amazing venue and a good value given what comes with the venue both indoors and outside! Robin and Denis the coordinators are amazing to work with they answer both email and phone inquires quickly. They can schedule photo sessions and use of a golf cart to take you and the photographer to excellent locations. They have good communication with their list of caters and have a backup plan if the weather is not good on the day of you wedding. We had bad weather and they seamlessly moved the venue indoors and it was still a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend this venue due to the setting and excellent customer service they provided!

Just had my wedding at Red Butte Gardens and all I can say is WOW. It was so beautiful there! The staff was very attentive and helpful. They'll communicate with you what you need, and you'll figure out a floorplan for your event. Robin was great to work with. Then during the event, the staff checks on you to make sure you have everything you need. I had a guest that had trouble getting around and the staff had golf carts there to help them get to/from the fragrance garden, Everything went smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! The Orangerie has a great view of the city on one side, and a beautiful patio with flowers on the other where we set up the bar and had my live band set up for dancing. Meanwhile, the fragrance garden was another gorgeous spot for the ceremony. And the grounds for the wedding pictures are also amazing. All my guests were wowed by how beautiful it was. Hands down was the best wedding i've ever been to, and I'm lucky that it was my own!
If you are lucky enough to get this booking, do it! And i visited the gardens throughout the year and the summer is a great time to book this venue!

Red Butte was beautiful for my June wedding. I just missed the blooming wisteria in the fragrance garden but everything else was in full bloom. Denise was very fun and friendly to deal with. I have to work odd hours so I can be difficult to reach by phone but Red Butte was able to conduct most of the planing process via E-mail with me.The Day of the event everyone was so helpful and wonderful to work with. They had signs up so my guests would know where to go. They had a shuttle setup so I would be hidden from the groom and not have to walk to the ceremony site. They were always checking in to make sure my needs were met. I loved every minute of my event up there.

What an incredible place for a wedding! Our day was complete in getting married at Red Butte Garden. The Gardens have always held a special place for my husband and I. Getting married at such a special place made our day complete. Denise and her staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The are beyond organized and professional and we worried about nothing, the day couldn't have been more perfect! They took care of everything, things we hadn't even considered and they coordinated with all of our vendors beautifully. Thank you again for everything, our wedding day was a dream because of the staff and beauty of Red Butte!

Robin and Denise are absolutely incredible!!!!!!!! They made my wedding at the Rose House and Rose Garden perfect. The venue is the most gorgeous picturesque outdoor spot you could ask for. The photo-op spots are indescribable.

They both responded to every email, every question, and every detail I needed help with to make my wedding perfect. They are extremely smart and kind and do everything with a smile on their faces.

Robin was especially helpful because she was my run-through and day of coordinator and she did not miss a beat. She had two golf carts on hand helping me, my photographer, groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids get around the entire garden. She had the exact set-up of my ceremony and reception ready to go early. She handled all vendors and helped them set-up and explain to them where they needed to go. She allowed us on the venue grounds early so I could get into my dress.

Robin made sure all of my gifts, decorations, floral arrangements, etc were all safely placed into my car at the end of the night as well. I would recommend this garden over and over again. My guests had the best time and I had the best night of my life. Thank you Robin and Denise for giving me all I could ask for!

Honestly, you can not find anyone more talented, experienced and kind then the wedding cordinators at Red Butte. They were remarkable. Always on top of things, responsive, and very knowledgable. Not to mention the venue is perfect. The orangerie is beautiful and the fragrance garden couldn't have been a more beautiful backdrop to such a perfect day. A few days before the wedding my mother and mother in law went to red butte in a rain storm and even then it was beautiful. I really could not say enough great things about red butte. You will not be disappointed.

After looking at many venues we looked at this one and the choice was super easy! It is bright and beautiful with a garden feel even inside the hall. Robin and Denise were responsive and easy to work with. Tables and chairs were included in the rent price, unlike other venues that try to nickel and dime you on everything. Optional use of the fragrance garden was included at no additional cost, and they even set it up for us just in case the weather warmed up enough that we want to use it. They took our Italian in-laws on a golf cart tour of the gorgeous gardens. All guests have access to the botanical garden as your guest. This place was far and away the best dollar value, as well as most naturally beautiful of all the places we viewed. We held our event just before peak season and the price was unbeatable! Loved everything about that wonderful day!

The venue is absolutely beautiful! Denise was great to work with and answered all my questions. She did a final walkthrough with me to make sure all details were covered. The staff the night of were helpful and professional. They let me come visit the gardens as many times as I wanted during the months before the ceremony, so that I could get all details worked out. I would highly recommend this venue.

Red Butte Garden is THE place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. Both ladies in the sales and special events department are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They had great recommendations, responded quickly, and made everything go smoothly. The night of my wedding, the on-site staff were so great to communicate with each other and my other vendors to make certain everything went well. Of course, the venue itself is beautiful, well-kept, and easy to host a wedding.

Held our wedding ceremony in the fragrance garden here, it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous and really set the fantastic mood for the entire day. I will always remember the scenery and I know that scenery helped to set the mood and helped to make beautiful memories of that day. They were great to work with up until the wedding and helpful the day of. I would definitely recommend!

Red Butte Garden was the perfect place for a wedding. Our event was June 15th and the gardens were spectacular. We had the ceremony and the fragrance garden and I can't begin to tell you how beautiful it was. People couldn't stop talking about the beauty of the ceremony site. The reception was in the Orangerie and it too was amazing. Unlike many "greenhouse" venues, Red Butte doesn't feel like a crowded jungle. They actually have orange trees and olive trees growing in it. The entire structure is all glass with really tall ceilings with perfect views. The staff was wonderful to work with. The provided golf carts to transport guests to the various locations if they were unable to walk. Most preferred to stroll the gardens however. Normally children are bored silly during a wedding/reception, but the children's gardens kept the children so busy we hardly saw them. They didn't even want to go home. I couldn't imagine the wedding being as perfect if we chose another venue. Many of ours guests are returning with their familiies to enjoy the gardens because they had such a good time. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of service from the entire staff and the gorgeous, wandering grounds. Extra efforts were made for our guests that required assistance, no matter how small. Very timely and helpful responses came from Robin and Denise whenever we inquired. We would highly recommended this venue (and have) for any special occasion.

Red Butte Garden was the ideal choice for our wedding. The fragrance garden where we held our ceremony was stunningly beautiful. The gardens have numerous fantastic locations for photographs. The Orangerie easily accommodated our guests for dinner, and later for dancing. Robin was a joy to work with from start to finish, and provided several helpful recommendations for other vendors as well. The presence of a Marriott hotel (with shuttle service to and from Red Butte Garden) very close by made Red Butte Garden convenient for out of town guests as well. To quote my aunt, "Why would anyone in Utah get married anywhere else?"

The garden is a beautiful place that only adds to the amazing atmosphere of your special day. The Red Butte Garden staffs were very helpful and organized which help with the stress of wedding day nerves and emotions. I highly recommend Red Butte Garden for your special day!

Red Butte Gardens was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were affordable but still very elegant. I also didn't have to purchase many flower arrangements because this venue doesn't need anything but centerpieces! I have beautiful pictures from our wedding because of the scenery here. They provided two cute little dressing rooms for us to get ready in before the ceremony. They even provided golf carts for us to use while we transferred the wedding party to the ceremony location and afterwards when we took pictures throughout the gardens. Robin and Denise were very helpful when I emailed them with questions. My only disappointment was not being able to have In-N-Out cater our wedding because they limit you to a list of approved caterers (around 15 options). Other than that, they were easy-going and accommodating!

After visiting many venues to have our August wedding, we were quick to choose Red Butte Garden. It is such a gorgeous site to host a wedding, and I was more than happy with the way they conduct business. The coordinators Robin and Denise were so responsive to my questions at any time up until the wedding and were even more helpful the day of. They had a crew at the wedding that we probably should've paid to be our wedding planners! Such a friendly and accommodating staff, professional coordinators, beautiful venue, and so great to work with! I would absolutely recommend Red Butte to anyone and everyone looking for an out-of-this-world wedding venue.

Red Butte Garden was my dream wedding venue and I was so happy to be able to book them! Robin and Denise in the event department are wonderful to work with and help your wedding day go off with out a hitch. The Fragrance Garden is the most beautiful place for an outdoor ceremony but there isn't a bad location on the lot. I highly recommend Red Butte as a wedding venue if you love flowers, the outdoors, and a spectacular view of the Salt Lake Valley.

We had our wedding at Red Butte early in June, we were extremely worried with the wet winter extending that we were going to be rained on and not able to have our ceremony at the Fragrance garden... Though, come the day of our wedding the clouds opened up and we had a high of mid-60's and it was gorgeous! The garden looked absolutely stunning and the wisteria that was growing over the dome where we had the ceremony was beautiful. We were so happy with Red Butte, they were extremely helpful and on the ball. Also, after the wedding they gave us our wedding insurance back extremely fast. We were thrilled with our decision to have our wedding and ceremony there!

Red Butte is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for my intimate wedding. We got married at The Rose Garden and it was so nice to have everyone be able to sit so close to where the ceremony was. Denise and her team are very professional and usually very quick to respond. Red Butte is one of the pricier venues but it is worth every penny if you want a gorgeous outdoor wedding with amazing photos.

You can't go wrong with this place, they offer three wonderful locations, we personally had the rose garden and I can say there wasn't a single moment that i was less than thrilled with the location. Prices were expensive but weekends do that, Be careful of the rattlesnakes though.

This venue is breathtakingly gorgeous, the guests loved it. Robin and Denise were fantastic. The only issue we had was construction on the adjacent site and construction noise during our garden ceremony; disappointing.
