Robin and Denise are the most accommodating and detailed venue managers in the business. The Orangerie has breathtaking views and a garden setting but offers the security of an inside venue in case of inclement weather. The new Rose Garden is fast becoming the hottest wedding venue as it offers brides the type of atmosphere people dream about in the wedding magazines! They are not only consummate professionals in the event industry, but, they also truly care about their clients and want to give them the absolute best experience. The Orangerie is just breathtaking any time of year with it's Olive trees and fresh flora.They have just recently added a new Rose Garden to the landscape for a gorgeous ceremony only, as well as a brand new amphitheater to hold larger groups. Catering for events at Red Butte Garden must be arranged through one of our exclusive caterers. Whether you are planning a casual open-house or a formal dinner, our professional caterers will create the event of your dreams.

All of your other event needs (music, decor, photography, etc.) may be arranged through the vendors of your choice.
 
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Alcohol is permitted, but it must be arranged through one of our caterers, who do have liquor licences.

What is unique about having a wedding at Red Butte Garden?
The breathtaking views of the Gardens, the Salt Lake valley, and the surrounding mountain ranges create the perfect setting for photographs and unforgettable events. By inviting your guests to the Garden you are giving them a wonderful gift – a place of beauty and relaxation, a place to laugh and visit with loved ones, and a place to take a quiet moment to walk through the gardens.

Where are weddings held and how many guests can you accommodate?
The Orangerie & Fragrance Garden:
Available year round, the Orangerie accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated dinner, or up to 400 guests for an open-house style event. During the warmer months, the rental fee of the Orangerie includes the option to hold a ceremony in the Fragrance Garden, which allows seating for up to 150 guests.

The Amphitheater & Rose Garden:
During the summer months receptions may be held in the Amphitheater, and includes the option to hold a ceremony in the adjacent Rose Garden. These spaces offer a variety of options for event set-up, accommodating varying numbers of guests. Please contact us for more details.
