Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Special techniques are black & white, sepia toning, color splash (black, white & color), slimming effect, teeth-whitening, skin tanning, blemish-removing, among other techniques!
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Since I am on-location only, I use natural light. I do use a photo software where I am able to add & remove fill lighting if need be.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I use film, but I do edit the photos with computer software to make your photos look their absolute best!
How many photographers do you work with?
I am the only photographer, however I do usually bring an assistant with me.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. You hired me to photograph your event & I guarantee to be there!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No. I will never book more than one wedding on the same day. When you book your wedding with me, I devote my entire day to your wedding. I may book more than one wedding in a weekend, however.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
No. I am the only photographer.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My camera with flash, extra lens, tripod, bounce reflector, filters, extra film, batteries.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I normally do not charge by the hour. However, it can be done.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
$100/hr
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Maybe one, if any.
Do you charge for travel?
Weddings & Photo Sessions held within Spartanburg County are no additional charge for travel, however, travel 30 miles or more outside of Spartanburg County requires a travel fee of $0.50 each additional mile.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your proof book & images to be posted online.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are printed on high-quality pages in a proof book.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Your proof book is for you to keep, however once you receive your photo proof book, you will have 90 days (3 months) to decide what you would like in reprints & enlargements. The proof book will have each edited photo numbered. You will order your enlargements/reprints using these numbers. If you do not make a decision within those 90 days, unfortunately, I will have to terminate our contract with no refund.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. However, you are able to purchase a CD (copyrights) for an additional $150.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes at an additional price of $150.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes within about 2 weeks, usually less.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Hard or soft cover books with photos printed on the pages.
When will the client get the final album?
I ask that you allow 2-3 weeks once the order has been made.
