As a Wedding Planner I have the opportunity to work with lots of different Photographers and to see how they can make the Wedding Day much easier or much more difficult. Mimi Rosicky is among the VERY BEST! Not only is she a great photographer with the ability to capture the feelings of the day, but she is also fun and easy to work with. One of my clients recently told me "Not only do we LOVE our pictures but every interaction with Mimi has been fabulous!" She has an way of putting everyone at ease in front of the camera and lowering the overall stress level which equates to better pictures and a better experience. Book her - you won't regret it! Sky is the limit. I can create every possible special effect from black and white photos with color details to sepia and much, much more.

Studio lighting and all forms of ambient light, including natural, tungsten, candle light to name a few.

Some weddings do not require a second photographer. I offer my couples the option of one, two or three shooters.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. Often times, after the first dance portion of the reception, my associate will remain as it can be more cost effective than having two photographers during the entire reception.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
NEVER in the same day.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have five amazing photographers I work with on a regular basis who can cover if I am unable.

Two Nikon bodies, six different lenses, three light sources, 50GB of memory.

Weekends (Friday-Sunday) are based on a full day rate. Weekdays (Monday-Thursday) are based on an hourly rate if the wedding is less than six hours long.

Yes. $250 per additional hour per photographer.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I need 15 minutes right before the ceremony to refresh my batteries, memories cards and verify lenses needed.

Do you charge for travel?
For distances beyond 50 miles from my studio.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I provide my guests with both a CD and online viewing. The website and CD can take up to three weeks to post and deliver, depends on time of year. I do quality work and review every photo before the clients views it.

The CD is yours forever.

Tips and Advice
Are you going to wait until after your ceremony to see your beloved for photographs? Do you know where "It's unlucky to see the bride before the ceremony" originated from? The 'tradition' of not seeing the bride before the wedding came to us from the days of arranged marriages when a union was formed between families, often from neighboring villages. Almost never did the bride and groom even know each other before the wedding. The reason it was unlucky for the groom to see his bride before the ceremony was in the event he disapproved of her and called off the wedding. The bride remained veiled through the entire ceremony and only after rings were exchanged and vows taken was the groom allowed to lift the veil for the first kiss. For many reasons, it is advisable to take your photographs before your wedding, and there are many ways to arrange meeting your beloved beforehand in a romantic and intimate setting, with no one around but you and your betrothed. Please contact me for more details on how I can ensure you will have the most intimate, romantic and stress-free photographs from your wedding day.
