We had our ceremony and reception in the Brown Sculpture Courtyard. It was a really pretty venue. But what made us really glad we went with Mesa Arts Center is their coordinator, Marie, and her wonderful staff. Marie answered all of our e-mailed questions in the weeks before, and they made sure everything went smoothly before, during, and after our ceremony and reception. If you're looking for a beautiful place to host your wedding that won't break the bank, talk to Mesa Arts Center!

We got married at the Brown Sculpture Garden this past weekend (3/2017) and it was a truly perfect experience. We started planning 5-6 months ahead with their coordinator Marie, who was very helpful throughout the process and accommodating as we negotiated numbers. We originally planned for 170 guests, so we reserved both the outdoor courtyard and indoor classroom, with the museum/gallery reserved just for our guests. Instead of a traditional seated ceremony, we had a mix of large and small, high and low tables, and designed the wedding more to be a flowing cocktail party with food stations, with guests moving throughout the venue. We ended up with only 85 guests, which was really perfect in the end (impossible to talk to more than that!). Marie had great ideas and also listened to ours to achieve a vision that worked. We used Heidi's for food, Atlasta for the bar, and All Pro DJs, all of which worked out perfectly. I am so thrilled with how everything worked out, I wish we had more events to plan there!

Wow! What an incredible spot to tie the knot! I used to teach art history and I cannot imagine how wonderful it would be to get married here! I love photographing in and around buildings like this and I love to help the bride and groom have the best day of their lives and this is THE place to consider for your wedding!

The Mesa Arts Center is a real gem in downtown Mesa. We primarily use it for wedding ceremonies which always come off beautifully. It is a very modern, outdoor space with several options for ceremony sites. The rooftop terrace feels open yet intimate and has great views. The recessed rostrum feels like a modernist canyon with its waterwall, greenery, open sky, and surrounding walls of concrete and glass; a very cool space. The MAC was designed with a look that incorporates natural and synthetic elements which makes for a memorable and versatile site.
