The Savoy Inn has been in business since 1954. For over three generations, the Merighi family has made it their lifelong commitment to serve their customers on the most important day in their lives.  Our Grande Ballroom can handle up to 500 people and the Rose Room is the perfect setting for smaller, more intimate gatherings of 100 people or less.  The Savoy has hosted wedding receptions from all over South Jersey. Located in Buena Vista Township. The Savoy is very conveniently located for brides and grooms from Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, Hammonton, Sea Isle City, Marmora, Ocean City, Williamstown, and of course Vineland and Millville.

Yes, we offer complimentary wedding planning with the owner himself. You get one one one, customized and personalized assistance with Tom Merighi, Jr.

We sure do! Let's just say we take care of those brides and grooms who also entrust us with their rehearsal dinners as well as their receptions. Give Tom Jr. a call for more details.

We offer both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, but as far as additional items like unity candles, programs and the like, we do not provide.
 
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
There is no need to rent these items at the Savoy Inn- we've got you covered with all of them- included in our pricing.

1 server for every 20 guests

We do not require specific vendors, but we are more than happy to suggest professionals that we have worked well with in the past.

No, we do not require use of our musicians. There is no fee for bringing in outside musicians.

Tips and Advice
My best advice to brides and grooms, with the current economic crisis, is to deal with reputable professionals who have been in buisness for a long time and come well recommended. Many of the new banuqet facilities want thousands and thousands of dollars down for the deposit and then additional monies way before the event date. What are they doing with all this money??? Who are you giving all this money to? Will the manager you are dealing with today still be there a year from now to take care of you? How about two years from now. Will the current owner even own the business by the time your wedding reception date arrives?

At the Savoy Inn, you can rest assured that you are dealing with a family that has been through tough economic times before. You can book confidently, knowing that you will deal with the Merighi Family through the entire planning process. We only take $1000 deposit, allowing you to keep your hard earned money.  You can sleep well at night, knowing that your wedding reception is important and will be handled professionally and personally by Tom Merighi, Jr, himself.
