I continue to be in awe of the camera because with it one has the ability to capture and preserve life. As I look through old albums that belonged to my grandparents, and my own new wedding album, I can’t help but be filled with delight and a deep thankfulness for what I hold in my hands. This is because, through those images, I am participating in the life, love, joy, and yes, sometimes even the grief and sadness, of my family. This is priceless to me. I know that it is also priceless to my clients.

I accept a limited number of weddings each year so that I can devote plenty of time to my clients. I also teach photography classes at Dallas Baptist University, a job I have been honored with for the past six years. As the saying goes, "If you want to learn something better, teach it!"
