Melanie worked my wedding this past weekend. She was efficient, thoughtful, and quick to respond to emails (which, to me, is very important). Additionally, on day of the Wedding she helped organized the day with her "Run of Show." When mom's starting taking pictures during the first look and pre-ceremony pictures, she was gracefully able to encourage them to leave. And believe me, you might want that to happen to you. Melanie is a great addition to your wedding day!

I almost never give reviews, but after Melanie Reyes Photography took pictures of our wedding, I have to. Melanie blew us all out of the water- she was super flexible even though we were over thirty minutes late on almost everything (including arriving to our own wedding), she was AMAZING at moving through family pictures quickly (and we both had large families (50+ people)), she made us feel natural even though we aren’t big picture people, she offered to stay late without us asking in order to get enough pictures because we had run late, she took time to get lots of pictures of our guests, worked well with our other vendors, thought of details I never would have, had water and tissues on hand when I did not, and took time to learn people’s individual names as well as who in the wedding party had significant others with whom they might want pictures. Melanie’s second shooter, Deana, was equally amazing- she made us relaxed, had a great eye for detail/ noticed the little moments, and was such a bright, peaceful presence. Not only does the Melanie Reyes photography team take great pictures, they elevate the entire day (even when it doesn’t seem like it’s possible). Thank you Melanie Reyes Photography!

Not only were the pictures that we got from Melanie the absolute best, but day-of she was amazing! A bridesmaid forgot to pay for parking (and was running out of time to get ready!), and Melanie sent her assistant to pay for the parking before I even had time to panic. Crisis averted! She was great getting family (and a 3 year old) to pose for photos, keeping everything on time with the photos, and really just made the day go smoother. When I got the pictures back, there were so many wonderful shots that I never even knew she took, including photos of little wedding details that at the time I didn't think were important, but now more than a year later I am SO happy she took the time to capture. I cannot recommend Melanie enough!!

If I had to describe Melanie in three words, I'd say she was flexible, joyful, and professional in her work. She tastefully captured our ceremony while somehow staying invisible, she was so easy to talk to about my preferences and the schedule of the day, and she has the knowledge and skills to take good shots. I hoped my photographer would just "know" when to take a picture, and just "see" the special moments, and Melanie does both.

Melanie is a professional, kind, and knowledgeable photographer. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable throughout the photography session. My experience with her has been nothing but wonderful.

I loved working with Melanie! She was amazing! I felt very comfortable with her and Deanne her assistant that day. She was attentive and helpful even with things that are above and beyond her job description. She always checked to make sure we were doing ok. I could not have asked for a more attentive, positive wonderful photographer to capture our memories for that day!

Melanie was an absolute joy to work with!! Photography was a priority for us, and we are so happy we chose Melanie. From the beginning she was friendly, accommodating, quick and easy on the communication, and clearly a talented photographer. She knew exactly how to blend into the background at certain times and assert herself and keep everyone on schedule and in the right place at others. But most importantly, she listened to our requests, took LOTS of photos, and we ended up with some absolutely stunning photos and a gorgeous wedding album! We highly highly recommend Melanie Reyes!

Melanie was absolutely amazing! From the beginning she was easy to get a hold of and great with communication. She made sure mine and the groom's needs were met with the photos wanted and much more. Her equipment is top of the line. She was great at getting people's attention and knew what would look great in locations and lighting. She was good at hiding in the crowd at the reception, no one really noticed her. My family and friends had nothing to say but wonderful things about Melanie. Melanie is an incredibly talented and professional photographer. After she did an amazing job photographing my sister's wedding, I knew that I needed to book her for my own wedding! She captured every detail of our day and the photos are even better than how I would have remembered it. Melanie is absolutely wonderful. From our engagement session to planning our wedding to the day itself and afterwards, she was a pleasure to work with and a total professional. She has a easy going and positive attitude which is always helpful when there always has to be a little wedding stress! Yet she is tough in the sense that she can organize big, rowdy groups of families for pictures in respectful way. We had an unusual day with two ceremonies with a break in the day between them. Melanie was very accommodating and broke up our hours of photography so we weren't paying for several hours when we had "down time." She was quick to edit our photos and sent our final digital album (flash drives) in a beautiful presentation. Finally, the photos themselves are gorgeous. We did not have a lot of time in our day for photos but she managed to capture so many special moments between my husband and I, our wedding party, our families and guests. She made sure to get all my requests and way beyond. We have so many photos that we will cherish forever! Thank you so much, Melanie! I can't recommend her enough!
