About

Based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado (and always available for travel), I have been a wedding photographer for 4 years and a portrait photographer for 7 years. I’m the kind of photographer who will cry along with the bride as she recites her vows, will be there for you if you need anything during your pregnancy and will cheer you on when your little one arrives. I’m here to capture the beauty of who God created you to be. Life’s too short not to enjoy every moment we’re given. So when we meet, feel free to relax, be yourself, and most of all, have fun!

Frequently Asked Questions
Photography Details
Please describe any special techniques you offer:
Each photo is gone over to make sure it is edited and perfected before final print.
Do you have a media preference?
I use all digital; Canon body with a variety lenses.
How many photographers do you work with?
I have a second shooter at every wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
When you hire me, I will be the one shooting your wedding.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
By choice, I will never do more than one wedding a day. I like to be there for the Bride and Groom for as long as they need me.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
I do have a replacement photographer if I do become unavailable, however I do everything in my power to make sure I am there.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My main camera, back-up camera, a second shooter, lenses, tripod etc...
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I do. Always!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I give packages to fit my clients needs. Since every wedding is different, it would make sense that the bride and groom will have different needs. If you don't see something on my package list you want, let me know! I will do my best to see how we can add that in.
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
I don't require a meal break, but I typically lay low while everyone is eating. Who really wants photos of them with food in their mouth?
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
None... the wedding doesn't stop so neither do I.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, I do. However, I work with the bride and groom to come up with something reasonable depending on the location. I don't just have a flat fee.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2-3 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Website.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
I give the copyright to my clients and they also have proof available on the web for 9 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
No, the copyright belongs to the client.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I do.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
I provide the digital files to the couple.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
I create a flash website with the photos in a slide show format for the couple to send to their family and friends for at least 3 months.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer two types of albums. One a more general album that comes with my first package and a coffee table album that comes with the second and third packages; with package 3 the client gets 2 albums.
When will I get the final book?
4-6 weeks after the wedding with my standard album. 6-8 weeks with the coffee table album.
