E.Maddison Events is a Boutique Event Planning and Wedding Consulting and Coordinating Design Firm. Our firm plans weddings, social functions and corporate events in Houston and surrounding areas. In our ten years of experience we have had the opportunity to assist our clients in determiningtheir vision, then in making that vision a reality.

EME has always viewed events and event planning as a collaborative effort with our clients. During our initial consultation, we strive to understand your vision as well as to truly learn what you want for your event. We then aim to go above and beyond your vision. Our approach is to create and manage events that are sophisticated, chic, personal and perfect through meticulous planning and coordination. Our vast array of planning services allows you to fully enjoy your event knowing that every detail has been accounted for.

Because we feel each of clients are unique and the events we design are reflective of their personality and style. We are involved in every aspect of the event from the creation of a theme, selection of vendors, design and execution. We insure that each of our clients receive personalized attention. We are dedicated to creating weddings and special events with style.

Long-term Planning: budget management, vendor management, monthly planning timeline and unlimited planning support.

Vendor Selection | Appointment Setting: venue, photographer, florist, DJ, musicians, caterer, and other vendors.

Inspiration Meeting: we learn your wishes and wedding needs, explore your everyday life and love story, and collectively create a flawless plan of your wedding details.

Wedding | Event Design: wedding brainstorm, florist selection, rentals, color scheme, custom details, and wedding concept.

Logistics | Detail Wrap-up: determine wedding day flow, venue lay-outs and day-of timelines. Manage communication in final weeks, including payment tracking, coordinating wedding rehearsal, and managing wedding day from beginning to end.

{Month-of & Week of Coordination}

Short-term Planning meeting: together we review the plans and vendor contracts you've set in place and all the important details of your wedding day to execute your vision flawlessly.

Logistics | Final Detail Wrap-up: determine wedding day flow, set-up, and day-of timelines. Manage vendor communication in the final week(s). Provide support of on-site coordinators, conduct wedding rehearsal, and manage your entire wedding day.

{Destination Planning}

We adore couples who fall in love with other locations for their wedding and choose to have a destination wedding. We offer the same full planning package to our wandering lovebirds. In addition, we provide extra support and planning tools to bridge the distance.

I was very detailed about what I wanted. Mrs. Maddison was able to specializing a package that not only included all I wanted but also fit into my budget. She had no problem in adjusting to ideas and other changes that may have been added on and was willing to take full responsibility.
The best thing ever was showing up with nothing in hand and seeing your ideas brought to life. She went over and beyond what I was looking for and with her quality touch, which made it look more unique. Great planner and Host!!!

Erika's services made our wedding incredibly memorable! She stepped up and took care of last minute issues and managed the day of the ceremony to go smoothly and without a hitch. Both my husband and I felt like everything was taken care of and all we needed to do was relax and enjoy our special day.

In regards to the planning process, Erika was there to guide us from picking the right stones to add to the veil to picking the right invitation that captured our theme of understated elegance. A theme, by the way, that she perfectly created for us after meeting us and hearing what we had in mind for our wedding. She even picked up my dress from the dry cleaners while I was out of the country in order to make sure I had it cleaned properly before my bridal portraits.

Erika's commitment to customer service came through most poignantly after our wedding, though. We unfortunately encountered some issues with a particular vendor and tried to resolve the issue after our wedding. Erika went above and beyond what was required of her and assisted us in trying to resolve the issue with the vendor well after the wedding was over. Her stepping in to assist us meant a lot to us because she really did not have to do so since her contract did not require her to do so. This showed us an impressive level of commitment to customer service. Her level of commitment is the kind you want when choosing a planner to help you plan your wedding.

Erika was a joy to work with. I honestly don't know how we would have done it without her. She made the day of the wedding worry free! When she got to the reception earlier that day she noticed we didn't get the correct napkins. We ordered black napkins but to our disappointment we were given white napkins. When Erika noticed that she quickly added some little details to make the place settings look so much better. She also worked her magic on the head table for the bride (my daughter) and groom. It was just perfect thanks to Erika. At the end of the reception she and her very sweet and helpful husband handed us our car keys, the car was loaded and ready for us to leave, we didn't have to do anything! Love her!!
