About

I am Rabbi Dawn Rose, and I can help you make your wedding as beautiful as you’ve dreamed. Share with me what you want and need, and together we can create a ceremony that expresses your unique spiritual bond, as well as answers the longings of parents and grandparents.

Each couple that comes together brings their own heritage and personal history. With utmost sensitivity, I can help you craft a wedding that makes a bridge between families and communities, whether they be Traditional, Liberal, Christian and/or glbtq.

I have unique experience with glbtq weddings. My services are both sensitive and innovative, honoring past, present, and future.

With my own mixed-faith background, I am also uniquely suited to work with couples and families of Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and other backgrounds, and am willing to work with clergy of other faiths. I have even worked hard to learn those special phrases in other languages, be they Yiddish or Chinese that help make everyone present feel welcomed and acknowledged.

Once a trained soprano soloist, I will be able to adorn our marriage ceremony with melodies such as from the Songs of Songs and the Sheva Brachot, the Seven Blessings.

Let my twenty plus years of experience help make your wedding beautiful, meaningful, and uniquely yours.

My husband & I recently used Rabbi Dawn Rose to officiate our wedding and were extremely pleased with her as an officiant. Not only did her beautiful voice add to the impact of our meaningful wedding ceremony, but Rabbi Rose was also an excellent resource to help with planning the wedding ceremony. For her this seemed to be more than a job; she took the time to get to know us as a couple and to understand our family dynamic. She encouraged us to do our own research/homework to come up with traditions and text that we wanted to incorporate into the ceremony but also shared her knowledge & gave advice to guide us along as we needed it. She comes across as a warm, non-judgemental and down-to-earth person.

Additionally, though my husband & I were both raised Jewish, our families and friends had varying religious backgrounds (from reformed to orthodox Jews to those practicing Christian or Indian religions) and she was able to meet our wishes in making the wedding friendly to all faiths, while still enabling us to capture all the major Jewish traditions that were important to us.

very informative in guiding us to educating our non-jewish guests about jewish wedding customs. We loved how she sang during the ceremony. Also, she provided great suggestions on how to personalize the ceremony to make it reflect us.

Rabbi Rose was supportive and informative throughout the entire wedding process. She helped us design a ceremony that was meaningful to us. It was very important to us to have a completely gender neutral wedding ceremony and she did a fantastic job of making that a reality for us. She also has a beautiful singing voice. The music we were going to play while we walked down the aisle didn't work out so she sang and it worked out perfectly. We cannot recommend her highly enough!
