One of the best things that could have ever happened to my wife and I was finding out that our photographer was double booked five weeks before our wedding! You would think, this sounds absolutely horrible. If we would have not had experienced this event, we would have never been able to meet Katie and Jen.

We relocated to Milwaukee and even though we got engaged in our beloved Philadelphia- we knew we wanted to showcase our neighborhood (Third Ward and Lakefront) in our engagement photos. Not having a lot of connections in Wisconsin, I took to the internet and through reviews and social media scoped out a potential photographer. Katie's responsiveness, warmth through email exchanges, and beautiful images had us sold. She is so laid-back, sweet, and talented. Crazy talented. We trusted her and she made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. Her style is very natural - which we loved. Nothing was forced and Katie was very flexible and responsive to our ideas. The final product was just delivered and we are blown away! Highly recommend.

I am so glad we decided to hire Katie to photograph our wedding. She is an amazing photographer with a great calm energy and truly exceptional customer service. She is an independent photographer - not working for a big studio - so she has the ability to really meet your needs. My husband's biggest concern was having a photographer that was "in everyone's face" and mine was having a photographer that did a lot of cheezy poses. Katie did neither. As a photojournalist, she knows how to take pictures of scenes and moments without intruding and she doesn't need to create a bunch of silly poses to get the shots you'll want of your wedding. Her prices were incredibly reasonable, she was very responsive and we had our photos about three weeks after the wedding. She doesn't force you to buy prints through her (although she has the full range of options if you'd like to have her make prints, wraps, etc.) and gives you the copyright to the photos, which is great for couples on a budget. She accommodated all of our special requests, including my ask to do a few boudoir shots as I was getting ready - even though that is not her area of expertise (they turned out fabulously). Overall, I would recommend her without hesitation, particularly for couples looking for flexibility, originality and an easy working relationship.

I'm so glad we were able to work with Katie for our wedding pictures. Looking at them now, I'm really happy with how they turned out and so glad to have such amazing keepsakes from the big day. Katie was really relaxed and professional during the whole day and was able to give us direction without being too direct-y or intruding. She was early on the morning of, which gave us the chance to have the boys photographed getting ready before coming to our room for the putting-the-dress-on pics. She had great ideas for different settings and poses at our venues and was at-the-ready to capture virtually all of the events of the day. Her pictures really seem to reflect a high level of professionalism, experience, and artistry. And we were able to get the whole set of photos on a flashdrive and a website for sharing within 6 weeks of the wedding. I would certainly recommend her to anyone wanting to invest in great photos.
