My husband and I took nearly 6 months looking for the right venue. I have a whole spreadsheet of at least 50 venues across the Kansas City area, and none of them completely hit the right boxes until we visited Loose Mansion. From the get-go, Loose Mansion staff were incredibly attentive and responsive to our questions and needs (and believe me, I'm the type of bride who had a LOT of questions and requests). They met everything with great professionalism. I barely had to do anything on my wedding day (the only thing I had to do was show them a new "mix" feature on Spotify, but that was truly the only thing I had to do!) This is the perfect venue for any couple, and it was absolutely worth the price. We are from out of town so we couldn't do a lot of prep beforehand, and Loose Mansion did all the prep we needed (and more!). They matched my vision perfectly, and the place truly felt like ours for that night. We did our reception only there, but I've heard they offer great wedding ceremony layouts as well. We got married right down the street at Trinity United Methodist church, which we would highly recommend as well for anyone interested in a classic church wedding. All in all, this was the perfect wedding in our books! I couldn't have asked for more. Super grateful for Karen who worked with us through every step of the way.

Not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous on its own, but Paula was so thoughtful and nice to work with during our entire planning process. She made sure everything we were looking for was accommodated and executed beautifully. She was always willing to answer questions and work with us. Highly recommended. Our guest loved the venue and had so many compliments. Such a beautiful place. We're so happy to we booked here.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Hawthorne House. It is beautiful, all inclusive and well managed. They were so easy to work with and so helpful on the weeks and months leading up. We used this location for our bridal photos to get ready, ceremony at the chapel, reception and cocktail hour. It included all alcohol needs and all of our photos were used on the grounds! Highly recommend even if it is expensive.

Our wedding reception at The Kansas City Mansion was perfect! We set it up outside for about 60 people. The guests got to experience not only the beautiful grounds with the outdoor fireplace, but also got to tour the magnificent mansion. It is full of beautiful antiques and each room has its own unique charm, including the “game room,” replete with various animal trophy heads, a shuffleboard table, a card table, and a television. The wedding party spent the night at the mansion. The beds were all very comfortable with soft and cozy bedding. All of the bathrooms have been remodeled and updated. There is also a steam shower and a massage room in one of the larger bathrooms. Megan and Chris, the owners, were amazing to work with and helped us with all of the details. They recommended various vendors we ended up using for everything we needed, including tables and chairs, table linens, flowers, and a photographer. We had an amazing experience at The Kansas City Mansion. I highly recommend it.
