How many photographers do you work with?
I have one leading assistant and a couple of freelance photographers to assist, if needed.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes... unless someone specifically hires my assistant.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I do not book more than one event in a day. I will book a maximum of 2 events in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I would always strive to make it to every event that I book, but, if something happened that prevented me from being able to make it, I would send my capable assistant or call on another photographer.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
cameras, various lenses, back up equipment.. some lighting equipment (soft box, etc.) for portraits or other situations that require more light.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I offer a number of packages and am always willing to work with each individual couple to come up with the perfect package for their day.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes. I charge $95/hour for hours beyond what a package includes... for wedding photography.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I take one break and that if for a meal. Yes, I do require that the client provide both myself and my assistant with a meal.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge for travel on a case by case basis... depending on how far I have to go... I am willing to travel anywhere!
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I give my clients all of their photos on a CD.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. I retain copyright for the photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes. I reserve the right to publish the photos.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes. I provide the digital files to the client.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I provide my clients with either contemporary, hard-cover, coffee table book albums or traditional hand bound, leather albums.
