Katie's Cakes and Catering is a full service Catering and Bakery Company that began in 1993 creating culinary and bakery flare ranging from "Elite Elegance" , "Modern Art Deco" to "Country Casual".  Katie Gainey, owner and culinary artist, learned her skills from her grandmother's 60 plus years of creating beautiul Wedding Cakes.  Katie and her staff are eager to create something new and exciting for their clients and are continuing to educate themselves by attending classes that specialize in weddings and related events.  We get to know our customers !  We have created over 1000 cakes during the past 15 years and catered hundreds of events.

The Brides Wedding Cake is what guests will remember!  Yes, family and friends will talk about how beautiful the bride was and how hamdsome the groom looked, but then they will discuss the cake and food.  The Brides cake is a representation of the Bride herself ad the entire day.  Our cakes are made from scratch and to order.  No cake is ever frozen!  We bake our cakes with the freshest ingredients which makes every bite a small piece of heaven!   Katie and her staff will duplicate the intricate embroidery patter from a dress, the swirls and flowers of a china pattern or make a beautiful fondant bow to sit atop the cake and we always play close attention to the smallest details.
Gum Paste Flowers, Fresh Flowers, Jewels and Pearl Dragees are just a few of the detailed items we use to create our cakes. 
Grooms Cakes are becoming just as important!  They range from the traditioal chocolate with fresh berries to themed an designed around a hobby or other special interest of the Groom himself, a 3-D Golf Bag, Computer or Fish Jumping out or the water.  We do not want him to feel left out!

We offer cakes in any shape, such as round, hexagon, oval, square ad size with Individual Style, Fablous Flavors and Decadent Filllings and Icings that customize each cake for the Wedding Day.
