My style is clean, stylish, and timeless so I try to stay away from gimmicks like hand coloring. However, I do use different tones such as Black and White, and Sepia Toning.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
My specialty is natural light, but I disguise camera lighting to look like natural lighting occasionally.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital, but I have a penchant for the look of film.
How many photographers do you work with?
Typically one, however I will almost always have an assistant and I have a second shooter at many of my weddings.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. I love getting to know my clients on personal level and finding out exactly what they want. I love telling the story through my images, and then designing the album myself... No templates.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I would never book an event, portrait session, or even a meeting on the day of a wedding. Occasionally I will have more than one wedding in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have numerous photographers of the same caliber that will step in if there was a catastrophic emergency. And I will do the same for them.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Several cameras, 7 or 8 lenses, several lights, tripod, and a light stand
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Everything is backed up... Memory cards, cameras, lenses, and of course the images are backed up to 3 times
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Of course, I feel the more time photographing your event, the better. My rate is $150 per half hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
A fed photographer is a more creative and productive photographer

It depends on the distance
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2 - 3 weeks. Never longer.

When will the client get the final album?
The design of the album should take 3-4 weeks, and my album company will takes about 3-4 to print, bind, and ship the albums.
