About
My Style

I see myself as a photojournalist, capturing the story of your wedding day through crisp images that communicate the spontaneity, authenticity and emotion of the moment. Wedding photography documents one of the greatest expressions of love in a person's life. But, each love story is as diverse as its participants. That's why I build a personal relationship with each couple. No two couples are the same and their photos should reflect their uniqueness. I want tell your story through memorable images that you will cherish for a lifetime.

About Jason

When I'm not snapping pictures, you'll find me playing Wii with my son, on coffee date with my daughter or sampling a new wine with my fiancée. A Denver native, I enjoy the playground that the Rocky Mountains offer, frequently fly-fishing, camping and backpacking. I love telling a good story, Starbuck's Pike Roast coffee, watching movies, playing poker, tinkering on the piano, and Saturday mornings spent reading the newspaper on the back patio.

Over the span of my professional career, I've (among other things) been a counselor, a high-stakes poker player, a construction worker and an IT consultant. While my diverse resume always brought home the bacon, it wasn't until I transformed my amateur photography hobby into a career that I found the fulfillment, fun and the artistic outlet I'd been looking for.

Jason and I met a few months ago and I was really hoping to have the opportunity to work with him soon. I asked if he might want to shoot the annual gala for Safe Passage on 4/24/09 and he happily agreed. Let's just say I was not disappointed! The images are amazing- there was a strong buzz Monday morning about the photos and the charity was already asking how they could link to Jason's site. A few other things to note- Jason was on time, well prepared, professional, dressed very nicely and great dinnner company too. We were able to sit together for dinner at one of the charity board member's tables and I heard several nice compliments on Jason later that evening. I am so glad he was able to shoot this event for me and I can't wait to spread his name far and wide in the bridal market. My clients are going to love Jason! I hate that I'll have to share him. :)

Tips and Advice
Never Mind the Photographs!

If you have a wedding coordinator, you have made a very smart decision. The coordinator will make sure everything comes together as planned.

However, on your wedding day, your photographer will be focused on you through all of it. To capture your day, I have to be there, in the background. I might take photos of your flowers, your table plans, your decorations, your guests, but I will always know where you are and when. Right up until it’s time to leave.

Be at ease… enjoy your day… experience tells me when to expect things to happen, when to nudge them along and when to stay out of the way.
