We feel so fortunate to have chosen James to photograph both our wedding day and engagement photos. Our photos are everything that we hoped they would be. James was incredibly kind and understanding throughout our entire engagement process. We started as a 10/24/20 wedding long before COVID was heard of. James worked with us as we navigated rescheduling, downsizing, and all things "COVID" for our 4/10/21 day.

James always came incredibly prepared to any of our meetings and helped calm my nerves by offering to do a walk thru of the timeline and event space the week before the wedding. Our forecast went from ideal Spring weather to overcast and dreary within a day, James made sure that we had a plan for this. We are so grateful for all of these extra details that James helped us see and his effort did not go unnoticed.

Our guests, mothers, and event space coordinators all complimented James, he kept our wedding day running smoothly and always made sure that we (the Bride and Groom) were comfortable and relaxed. By the end, he was not just a photographer, but a friend. I cannot say enough good things, we highly recommend!

He was amazing right down to the candid shots. He was so awesome our guest bragged in him! He was fun, funny and felt like he was part of the guest!

Our wedding was on October 6th in Milwaukee, and James was by far our favorite vendor. He met with us in advance to discuss shots that were important to us. He went to our ceremony and reception site ahead of time to scope out where he could capture the best shots. On the day of our wedding, we received so many compliments from guests about the amazing photographer we had! James worked so hard to capture us with all of our guests...and wow did he deliver! Our dream was to get a picture with the fall leaves in the middle of Wisconsin Avenue. We told him that ahead of time, and he captured photos of this dream we had that were more than we ever could expect. Thank you James for capturing our day so perfectly!

He was awesome and very professional and got us our wedding photos in less than 4 weeks. Very impressed by him and his work! Would highly recommend him. Also we flew him out from Milwaukee, WI to Phoenix, AZ - after we attended a wedding in Milwaukee with him as the photographer. He is definitely worth flying out because he is INCREDIBLE! His candid photos are the best. Really captures so many great moments at the wedding. It was like he was everywhere all at once

Working with James for our wedding day and engagement session was amazing. He goes so far above and beyond. Both with the engagement session and wedding day I had very specific pictures I wanted, and he captured each moment I hoped to get.

We have so many beautiful pictures from our wedding day, and for that reason alone I would recommend James without reservation. But the added bonus of having James as your photographer is he is fun! He will capture the best smiles because you will be laughing and enjoying yourself the entire time. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from family and the bridal party about our photographer. You anticipate compliments on your dress, the way the venue is set up, the food, etc. But you don't anticipate so many guests telling you, "Your photographer was awesome!"

One thing you might not think about when picking your photographer is you spend A LOT of time with them on your wedding day. So I can't stress how important it is to have someone you like to be around there when you're getting ready, saying your vows, and capturing pictures of your day!

James was great! He did an amazing job capturing the day. I was a very picky bride regarding photographs and I love mine. He captured the things I did not have a chance to notice. He got along great with family and friends and was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would reccomend him to anyone!

Great photographer! Very personable, energetic and professional. He does just about anything to get the perfect shot. My engagement photos were amazing. I can't wait to see my wedding photos.

The first thing that I loved was that James' price included the engagement session. I felt like that gave us time to get to know him and his style and be comfortable around him which was really great especially if you are camera shy at all. I haven't seen my wedding pictures yet but if they are anything like my engagement pictures they will be wonderful!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with James. I planned my wedding from the east coast, so the first time I met James was on my wedding day and he was amazing. He did an awesome job making my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera and our pictures turned out incredible! In fact, we are the couple featured on here! Go figure!

James Allen was great! He did a fantastic job on the engagement photos and I'm confident the wedding photos will be amazing. Everyone in the wedding party enjoyed working with him. I would highly recommend him both for the value and the excellent quality!
