Lisa is one of the most hard working in the business and was our essential creative visionary for our wedding in July 2025 at the Athenaeum in Pasadena. She was patient and flexible while maximizing our wedding florals in ways we didn’t know possible and met with us several times to give her honest input while bringing to life our sophisticated and elegant flower schemes. She made executive decisions on the wedding day when our flowers were in the sun and we couldn’t have been happier. Above all, she is so kind and a joy to work with. Lisa was amazing and had a wonderful eye for design and florals, she really found her calling. We had a few ideas, but were very open to suggestions and her tastes of what looked good. We provided her with a few flowers and colors we liked and she took that and ran with it. We could not have imagined more beautiful arrangements that were exactly what we always wanted if not better. Every detail from our flower petals in the aisle at the ceremony to the centerpieces on the tables, everything was cohesive and beautiful. I would absolutely work with Ixora again and again, she really has a talent.

I've also had the unique opportunity of disassembling her bridal bouquet so we can dry and preserve the flowers in resin and I was shocked by the clever arrangement, flower choice, and construction hidden between the stems to make the bouquet solid and beautiful. We worked with Lisa the owner of Ixora Floral Studio to execute our floral vision for our wedding in Dana Point on September 8, 2018. Long story short, the flowers were absolutely amazing! Read below for more deets!

Lisa really knows her stuff! At our first meeting I showed her several inspiration photos from Pinterest and she instantly began bouncing ideas off me to fully understand the look I was going for.

I contacted her via email multiple times leading up to the wedding with changes and she was always more than happy to update my order, answer my questions and even provided helpful insight. She was also very accommodating and would make arrangements to speak with me over the phone so we could discuss in more detail.

On the wedding day, employees from Ixora Floral Studio arrived on time and began setting up for our ceremony and reception which were in two separate locations (about 10 minutes apart). We were extremely impressed with the quality of the flowers and the professionalism of the employees who even helped clean up and transport flowers from the ceremony to the reception. We received countless compliments on the flowers which not only looked phenomenal, but smelled amazing too!

Lisa and her team really executed our vision for the wedding and we are over the moon at how beautiful the flowers were.

We were connected through a referral, and when I went to her studio for a meeting I knew right away that I would hire her. Lisa was so easy to work with, and so friendly too. We had a really great talk and I was able to learn more about what I wanted through her detailed questionnaire and from some pictures she showed of plants and flowers. I went into the floral part of our wedding very open minded, hoping that the florist would be able to create something in line with our style, but unexpected. I cant say how blown away I am by what she did for us.

I hadn't seen any of the flowers until the day of the wedding, and my first intro to her work was when I saw my bouquet. I almost cried at how gorgeous it was- she totally captured what my vision was and it was stunning. When I got to the venue and saw our table arrangements and the other large pieces she did, I felt like I was in a dream. Everything was so much more perfect and beautiful than I pictured. We collected our own bottles for the centerpieces and she was able to fill them and arrange them on the table so perfectly. We also gave her our own pots for floor plants at the site of the ceremony, which also came out incredible.

One more important comment would be the price- she was able to stay in our budget and I truly feel like we got more than we paid for because of the quality of her work. Truly stunning!

Lisa was by far the greatest decision I made for my wedding!! She hit it out of the park with her beautiful designs!! She took my vision and not only made it come to life but blew my mind and every guest said it was the most beautiful ceremony and reception decor they had ever seen!
