What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

We hand finish every "album quality" image in your gallery. Each image defines the finish process with its own unique style and feel.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

We've photographed from the darkest of chapels to the beach.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We are an all digital studio. We photograph using Nikon equipment.

How many photographers do you work with?

We always photograph weddings with two photographers. We don't use "interns" or "assistants", but REAL working photographers.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes. We don't send substitute photographers. The work you see on our web site and materials was photographed by Chris Smith and Shana Woods, just as your wedding will be.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

One wedding per weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes, I have a network of photogaphers capable and willing to fill in for me.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We photograph with Nikon cameras, and have 2 main cameras plus back up cameras. We carry a variety of lenses, batteries, lighting, and equipment necessary to photograph your wedding.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

YES. Always.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Our coverage is based on the number of hours of coverage you need, but we can also work with you on a daily rate, or destination rate.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

We charge $350 per hour if you go over your allotted coverage option.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

None that I can remember.

Do you charge for travel?

Generally, for a destination wedding, I would expect travel and accommodations to be covered by the wedding party.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

About 2-4 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

A digital preview in our studio theater, and later on a CD for you to take home.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The proof CD is yours to keep.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

We offer a limited copyright release, where we retain ownership, but you are allowed to print or reproduce images.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes, with certain coverage plans, the images are made available.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Upon request.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We use FINAO albums, the best album company in the world! We offer digital designs, as well as classic matted albums. The album design is up to you.

When will the client get the final album?

It takes about 4-12 weeks to design, approve, and print a fully custom wedding album.
