The Heitman House Is historic landmark, built in 1908 by Gilmer Heitman. The Heitman House is backed by the Caloosahatchee River, with a 200 foot walkway leading to an arch, just before the river. There is a lovely bride’s room with plenty of space for all her attendants. Our grounds, wraparound porch and pier with gazebo offer you many options for outdoor weddings and entertaining, with loads of places for wonderful photos.

Maximum of 250 guests, or 45 on the porch
Event hours: anytime between 8:00AM and 10:30 PMFacilities Fee: $2,000 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays $ 2,500 Holidays $850 Weeknights, $500 for weekday daytime events Breakfast meetings on request
Plus 150.00 cleaning fee paid 2 weeks before your
There is only one event booked each day which allows time for decoratin
A full deposit is due at booking to secure your day and a credit card will be kept on file and used if there are any extra charges or damages
Any damages to the property are the responsibility of the host or hostess
No smoking in the house or on the porch, there are designated areas allowed on the property
You are permitted to bring your own alcohol but not to sell it without a permit
Catering will be discussed with your event planner and guidelines followed
Vallet Parking Is used for parties over 25 guests
The rental of tables, chairs, and tents and plate service will be your responsibility, we are here to assist you, but payment will be directly to them.
We encourage the use of a tent as your event will not be cancelled if rain occurs
The use of the upstairs is only permitted for rest rooms and changing room there are two additional restrooms located on the first floor
The Heitman House does not assume any responsibility for damage of loss of any personal property
We have a six month cancellation policy with $200. being forfeited each month after the sixth month NO money returned if canceled 45 days out
We realize that our guidelines are strict, but this ensures you and your guests a truly memorable event

Ashley Brockinton Photography	We absolutely love shooting at the Heitman House. The old Florida feel is hard to come by on this coast. The wraparound porch and windows offer great photo opportunities, even in full sun. The boardwalk and backyard are so awesome!!! Laurie and her staff are professional and experienced. Oh yeah, Laurie is a fabulous caterer as well; UNBELIEVABLE food.
John Michael's Photography	I have been fortunate enough to do several photo shoots here and I can tell you that this place is absolutly georgous! Old world theme with the beauty and modernization of the river. Some of my best work has been done here. I reccomend this venus wholehartedly!

The Event Lady of Florida Weddings and Special Events	The Event Lady is especially fond of The Heitman House, since our Florida Weddings and Special Events Magazine Ft Myers' launch party was given here in 2006. We had a wonderful evening here! This is a beautiful historic mansion of SW Florida, with lovely people that run it and offer great service our customers.
