Lauren and Michael are amazing! We did our engagement shoot with Lauren, who arrived early to scope out spots at our location and made us feel so comfortable the entire time. Same thing for the wedding day, and Michael was the second shooter. We got great group shots and a mix of really unique couples photos. Michael even stayed till the end of our reception on the spot! We loved working with both of them - lovely people - and best of all, the photos are wonderful!

Lauren and Michael are extremely creative and talented, they found the most gorgeous spots for photos, different than all other photos from the venue I had seen! They were amazing to work with, super nice, always on and photographing, and they took my direction so well! We got every photo on my extensive list and THEN some! They were truly a pleasure to have around on my wedding day. If you want creative gorgeous photos, I highly recommend them!

It was a pleasure to have Michael and Lauren there as our wedding photographers. Your wedding day is stressful enough and all you want is to surround yourself with people who are there to support you and A Guy and A Girl were exactly that. They were professional, kind, easy to chat with, but also blended in when the party started so you don't feel like someone is always in your face. They were receptive to requests, but also able to get creative and grab unique shots. You have so many emotions on your wedding day and they were genuinely great people to be there with you to capture it all. I can't recommend them enough!

We loved working with Lauren and Michael for our engagement shoot and wedding photos! So many of our friends have complaints about their wedding photographers, but we couldn't have been happier with a guy + a girl! They were creative and came up with interesting shots while also making us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. They were extremely responsive, very professional, and willing to do whatever was needed to get us the photos we wanted. For both shoots, they showed up early to scope out the area which really helped us maximize our time. We are SO happy with how our photos came out, and can't believe how quickly they were able to turnaround so many great photos in such a short time (over 1800 edited photos in a little over 2 months).

I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough! Finding her was a bit of a Goldilocks story. We first met her when she was setting up to shoot at a venue we were touring. I kept her business card and after speaking with two other photographers that felt "not right" - one had photographs that were washed out looking (over-saturated) and the other brightened the colors during editing to the point where they did not seem real - we reached out to Lauren. Lauren - who is an utter delight to work with - produces photographs that truly capture the moment. In our case she captured a perfect Hudson Valley day, how it felt for us and for guests and how it looked. The photographs are magical and perfect without the viewer knowing they've been tinkered with. She was the consummate professional, showed up extra-early, made everyone feel very much at ease, and worked seamlessly with her second shooter. In the end, she gave us even more photos than we were promised (nearly 1800!). While I am still delinquent in doing anything with them, my husband and I will treasure them forever. (On that note, even though they are called "a guy + a girl" she was super great at handling a gay couple!). I could go on and on...the point is, you will never regret this decision. Lauren and Michael both shot my outdoor wedding in a bedford, NY and they did an amazing job documenting the day! All of the photos are absolutely stunning. Many friends and family have commented on them and how well they captured every part and person throughout the whole process of the day. Lauren and Michael are both just lovely people and so fun to be around. We had a blast with them at our engagement shoot as well. I feel so lucky to have had them BOTH there, I will treasure their photos forever!
