I have experience with multiple different lighting situations both indoor and outdoor using natural light, flash, candles, high ceilings and low, and professional lighting kits.

I am a digital photographer.
 
How many photographers do you work with?
Every wedding assignment I use a second shooter.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only book one event per day so that I can focus 100% on your assignment without compromise from beginning to end.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring three professional digital SLR camera bodies, 4 lenses, two flash units (Canon Speedlite 580ex II), bogen manfrotto tripod, 200 GB SanDisk Extreme III digital memory cards, full arsenal of batteries with backups and charge units, rent professional lighting units on an as needed basis, and alot of bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Full day is my style but I am happy to customize any package to best meet your needs.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I take breaks when I'm driving between bride and groom getting ready venues, driving to the wedding site, driving to the reception, and when I eat dinner. Although my camera is right there with me and I am always ready to begin shooting at a moments notice. I coordinate with the event coordinator and the DJ.
 
Do you charge for travel?
120 miles round trip is free. If more travel is required then I work out the travel expense details on a per assignment basis with the client to build that into their wedding package.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Clients are presented with the proofs anywhere from 3-8 weeks after the event.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
DVD and private online viewing gallery with storefront.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The DVD is theirs to keep.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain the copyright for the photos. A written permission is provided with your DVD of images that grants you right to print your images for private/personal use and to post them online if you like, however you do not have the right to sell the images or advertise the images without written permission from Gina Emerson Photography.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, all of my wedding packages include a DVD with high resolution, edited, and color corrected digital image files.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.

When will the client get the final album?
Once the client has approved of my image layout design for their wedding album, the order is sent directly to the album company. It can take up to five weeks before the album is delivered.
