What I can offer you:
-Engagement session.  So we get to know each other and we're not strangers on your wedding day. 
 

-A disc of all your images in color and black and white.
 

-A lot of images.  I don't put a cap on how much I shoot.
 

-Fun.  Bottom line.  If you're not smiling I'm not doing my job. I have a laid back yet assertive style of doing things. I frequently hear from my brides what a calming effect I have on them.
 

-And most importantly - the real you.  We will get to know each other on a personal level to get you to bring out the core of who you really are!  I don't just take pictures I capture your essence.

A little about me:

Hi everyone, I'm Brian Knott.  I live in Huntington Beach, California and I have the best job in the world!  And I’m not being arrogant…I just get to do what I love and spend my time around people having fun.  For that I am grateful!

First a little history about myself.  I've been behind the camera for about 20 years now; first starting out in nature and falling in love with landscape and wildlife photography.  My passion and connection with nature has brought me to some magical places.  It has always captivated me.  In recent years I've been able to apply that passion to my portrait work.  And that is where my love for wedding photography emerged.  The connection of nature and people is frequently overlooked and I love to bring that to life.

Wedding photography is a unique thing.  I mean here's this guy (or girl) following you around all day on one of the most important days of your life.  All of a sudden they're a part of your "circle".  That's why I take an approach that might be different than most.  I get to know you.  We get to know each other.  We'll work together before your wedding day so I'm not some stranger following you around.  We'll learn how we are a good fit and that helps me to bring out who you really are in the pictures.  I want you to feel comfortable enough to go out and be yourself without worrying what this guy with the camera is doing.  The last thing I want is for you to feel that your photographer did something you didn't want or didn't do something you wanted.

It's all about capturing the real you.  Not the posed you, but the you that needs to breathe, to have fun and to let go.  You’ve most likely spent months stressing over creating your perfect day.  I'm a firm believer that your special day should be anxiety free and that's what I try to help you achieve.  It's an exciting day and it should be fun!  My mission is to capture these moments so you can experience them again & again.  Lucky for me this is something I enjoy and not just a job I drag my feet to.  So I try to bring out that excitement in everyone around me.

A note about what I really do: Too many times when people are looking for a photographer they look at things such as price first, and that’s ok of course, but they tend to overlook what my photography is really all about.  I don’t just take pictures of people…it’s much more than that.  I capture your essence; who you really are.  I focus on the moment between moments where you are being yourself.  Of course you will get some traditional posed shots but what I’m after is the natural you.  When your family looks at those images a few years from now I want them to say “that’s the ‘you’ I know!”
