About
We feel that photographs should not only depict your special day, but also create lasting memories for years to come.  After your special event be sure to hang onto your special memories with captivating photography.  Don’t let photographs shape your life--let your life shape your photographs.

Focus First Photography was founded by Brittany and Robb Ressler in 2007.  Photography is a passion shared by both Brittany and Robb.  The couple has been doing various types of freelance work over the past three years and they are looking forward to sharing their passion with others for years to come.

Together Brittany and Robb operate an independent business out of their home in Goshen, Indiana.  They currently offer on-site photography on a location of your choice.  They pride themselves on making great photograph’s affordable for everyone. They have great options for every budget and are always willing to alter options to fit a clients needs.

We are always willing to travel for events.  In fact we recently traveled to St. Louis, MO for a wedding.  No matter the distance we will travel for you because photography isn't just about taking good photographs...it's also about being able to capture the wedding story as it unfolds.

Tips and Advice
One thing we always stress to our couples is to plan ahead.  Leave no detail unnoticed.  We recommend making a timeline of how your entire day will unfold--from the time you wake until you leave the reception late that evening.

Another thing to think about is whether or not you want to see each other before the ceremony.  This will affect the way your photographs are taken. Typically we get all of the photographs with the groom and his attendants/family, as well as, the photographs with the bride and her attendants/family before the ceremony.  That means after all we need to do are the group shots and the shots of the newly married couple after the ceremony.  We recommend entertaining the idea of going to a second outdoor location for some photos after the ceremony.  This gives a unique look to your photographs.
