About

I get to be the first person to spend time alone with the bride & groom after their ceremony; A position I am very much honored to be in. That first hour after the ceremony is so beautiful and intense and giddy for the newly-weds.

For me, the true art of wedding photography is in using my camera to recognize the importance of this timeless ritual as the foundation and outline for a great story to be told. And then to allow for the ambiance behind the entire wedding, its subjects, environment and candid moments to tell that story.
I love to make people look regal; In many cultures, the bride and groom are considered to be king & queen on the day of their wedding…

I always present a variety of poses and photography styles to my clients including formal/traditional, vintage, modern, romantic and photojournalistic.

Growing up with a photographer for a father taught me to look at everything I see and “crop” it to good composition ;) My dad made sure I understood the basic fundamentals, but he also taught me to look into everything with meaning and not let a good story pass by without capturing it…

I am also a band photographer and am heavily influenced by the fashion and music industries.

My extensive experience in graphic design and multimedia allows me to merge all my passions into one art: I love “love” and I love photography and design, so I consider myself very lucky to be able to combine them all together in my work.

I live in San Diego with my husband, Stuart and my cat, Russia, and I am available for destination weddings worldwide…
