EBE is the best! I am a wedding photographer, and I have seen them all (well almost). So when it was time for my daughter's wedding I chose EBE. They schlepped all the way to NYC on a Saturday. They were at the reception ahead of time, and were all set up long before it began.
And the most important part: THE MUSIC!!!! We chose the band Rio. Absolutely fantastic!. It was a dry wedding, and I was a little apprehensive that it would not be too exciting and no one would want to dance. EVERYONE DANCED!!! The wedding was absolutely perfect. So when it was time for the 2nd daughter to be married, we chose RIO again. Another dry wedding, another fabulous time.
Soulja Boy was requested, and even members of the band sang and danced with us. They are the best at what they do. Very courteous, professional and genuinely nice people who really do want your occasion to be fun!
Also, EBE deejayed a wedding we shot, and the deejays were the best we had ever seen in all the weddings we shot. They actually accomodated the bride's mother AFTER the last dance by playing a special song the bride's mother requested. That has never happened before or since. Kudos!

In addition to our bi-monthly entertainment showcases (where wedding "extras" are featured in addition to music at a local event venue), we offer twice-a-month band showcases, where each of our bands performs a sample set, at EBE's performance space in Philadelphia.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Of course -- our bands practice constantly to stay on top of the ever-changing music scene. When you meet with your band leader, he or she will discuss what special songs you would like to be played and ensure that your band is more than prepared on your big day.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Each of our bands is accompanied by two sound engineers who make sure that everything sounds flawless.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
Yes! Our band leaders are trained in what we call "the Art of the Party," meaning that they know how to guide a party from start to finish. After meeting with you to develop a timeline of events for your party, our band leaders help to keep things moving smoothly along with introductions, requested songs, toasts, and any other special moments that you have planned.
