Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with! From the moment I met her I felt completely comfortable! She was very easy to work with and on our wedding day she really took charge of organizing our very large family! She had great suggestions for our photographs and once in action you truly forgot she was even there! I would highly recommend Danielle to anyone, her pictures are amazing and truly captured exactly what we were feeling on our wedding day. I could not have been more pleased with her!

Danielle was fantastic!! She not only does amazing work but she is a joy to work with. She is friendly, always quick to respond, and incredibly creative. She is courteous but is not afraid to take charge of a large bridal party or a large group waiting outside the church for the bride and groom to exit. I have now gotten to work with her 3 times: an engagement session, a boudoir session, and our wedding day, and each time she was able to make us both feel extremely comfortable, and each resulted in amazing photos.

The week before the wedding we were unsure of the forecast and Danielle was great at helping me decide on what locations to take our portraits at depending on if it rained or not. She knows what she is doing and was so great at helping me work out our timeline and locations.

The day of the wedding she showed up early and ready to go. We ended up having less time for photos in between the ceremony and reception than originally planned, and she was wonderful about making sure we had every photo that she knew we wanted.

We have only seen sneak peeks from our wedding day but we know the rest will be superb. Choosing Danielle was one of the best wedding decisions we made by far!

I cannot tell you how much we just absolutely L-O-V-E Danielle's photos! We could not be more impressed and thankful. Her talents are truly tremendous.

Photography was one aspect of our wedding in which we refused to settle; we wanted artsy, photojournalistic, and candid. We wanted our story told honestly and as it really happened. After weeks of exploring nearly EVERY photographer listed on The Knot, Googling "Chicago Wedding Photographers," and asking every married couple we knew, we were about to give up...NOBODY had met our criteria---they were either too cheesy, too boring, or too expensive. Then, somehow, in some way, I stumbled on Danielle's website (I'm convinced it was fate!).

We knew we were taking a big risk by only having one photographer (and no videographer, etc.), but after discovering Danielle, I had fallen in love with her photos. There was no one else I wanted to photograph my wedding day---it had to be Danielle. And, quite honestly, it was hands-down one of the best wedding decisions we made. :-)

I came across Danielle early in my planning and booked her as soon as we met, even though I had not met with any other photographers. I’m so happy we did! She is very reasonably priced and her work is fantastic. She worked with us to fit in an engagement shoot in our busy travel schedules that produced many beautiful photos. The sneak peak I have seen of our wedding photos on her blog are incredible, and I have received tons of compliments already. The day of the wedding she was on time and ready to work. She took it upon her self to get started shooting details (shoes, etc) when she arrived and I was having my makeup done. She directed everyone so well and very gracefully handled a sticky situation between my husband’s mother and step mother during family photos. If I had to do it all again and could only have one of the vendors we used it would be Danielle.

I am absolutely in love with Danielle's work; I have been since the day we met! Danielle arrived promptly at my house and her second photographer (Jake Pouhl's) arrived to Mark's house to start photographing the wedding preparations. Our wedding day was insanely HOT and then turned into a monsoon! This definitely put a damper on our options for photos in-between the ceremony and reception. On our ride to DiNolfo's, we were having a blast in the trolley, and luckily, Danielle was following right behind us, so Jake hopped in the trolley with us to capture some of the action. He did! We were so grateful to have him there because I'm sure he got a lot of cute pics! And, as luck would have it, when we got to the reception, the clouds broke and the SUN came out! Danielle rounded all 23 of us and got us outside for some awesome photos! I was so excited that we were able to get the outdoor pictures, because I never ever thought we'd have that chance. Danielle sent us our "sneak peak" of photos only 2 days after the wedding, I was so pleased with Danielle & Jake, and would absolutely recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE looking for a wedding photographer!

I cannot speak highly enough of Danielle. She was an absolute dream to work with throughout the whole planning process!

When we first booked Danielle, we were out-of-state and couldn't meet her. Her website portfolio is great, and she offered me plenty of (glowing) references as well as access to some of her full wedding galleries. We did everything via e-mail, and she was awesome--I never had to wait more than a day for a response to any of my questions.

Our engagement shoot was fantastic. We used the results on our save-the-dates and got tons of compliments, and have several of the shots framed in our home now. She was really organized--we are both camera shy and don't consider ourselves particularly photogenic, but we both felt like models in these pictures.

On the wedding day, Danielle arrived early and called to confirm that she wasn't parked too far away so she could get to the reception on time after the ceremony. She is fantastically kind and bubbly, but unobtrusive. I barely noticed she was there unless we were taking portraits. I was really impressed that she'd brought some reference shots she wanted to try on her iPhone (that turned out really well.) I also had some crackpot ideas of places I wanted to shoot (such as Barnes & Noble) and she secured permission with the manager in advance for us. These pictures wound up being some of our favorites. We had 21 beautiful sneak peeks back the next day, and she asked permission before posting a "getting ready" picture where I'm not totally dressed yet. As much as we loved our engagement photos a year ago, it's obvious that she's really developed her talent a lot and the quality is fantastic.

We actually don't even have our full wedding photos back yet, but I am not hesitating to post this because honestly, I would still give Danielle 5 stars even if those 21 shots were the only ones we had from our whole wedding. Book her! You won't regret it.

Danielle is amazing... her work speaks for itself. She did my wedding at The Newberry Library and it was a blast... the bridal party was very impressed with her... she was everywhere.. and she caught the smallest, yet most important moments of the day!

Everyone raved about Danielle, from the Brookfield Zoo coordinator, to our bridal party to our other vendors to our guests.

Danielle is the first vendor I booked about a month after getting engaged, and I can say she was one of the best decisions ever! She is so talented and sweet. It really is true, when choosing your photog, that person is going to be around you for hours and hours and interacting with some of the most important people in your life, you want someone who has not only talent to get good pix but also someone who is polite and has a great personality. Danielle puts everyone at ease while directing them into a better light or getting them to smile without being pushy or rude.

We also had our engagement shots done with her, and we have used them for everything from Christmas books for our parents to things relating to the wedding. We are the most unphotogenic couple and she somehow makes us look good!

She is very responsive in emails throughout the whole process, has great ideas for photos and really sees the details in everything and is able to accent that. We know several of our guests plan on making appointments with her for family photos as well.

Danielle was an amazing photographer to work with! Not only are her pictures amazing, but she was great to work with as well. She was calm amid all the wedding chaos, gave direction when needed but was also really open to any ideas we might have. Before the wedding, I was able to give her samples of the type of photography I liked and she used those to give me exactly what I wanted.

To top it all off, she is also probably the friendliest photographer ever. She put me and my husband at ease right off the bat.

Finally, she is a great find in terms of cost. For those of you want amazing photographs but can't afford to spend half your budget on photography, Danielle is definitely the way to go.
