Wendee has been coordinating weddings and meeting for over 12 years. She earned her Bachelors in Communication from Iowa State University and a Masters in Education from Colorado State University. After moving to Colorado in 1995, Wendee was an assistant to two wedding coordinators at Keystone Resort and a Director of Catering. She spent most of her mid-career as a medical-education meeting planner, traveling all over the U.S. developing and implementing multiple logistics (marketing, registration, travel, material production, budgets, audio visual, F&B, etc.) for pharmaceutical industry sponsored medical programs. After years of professional experience, Wendee founded Finesse Events in 2001, a full-service wedding & event planning company. Following the recent sale of Finesse, Wendee is now an independent wedding & meeting planner. She believes in providing high-quality service at an incredible value by limiting day-of clients to 10 and planning clients to three; she believes in doing less, but better. Wendee specializes in wedding day-of coordinating services, location search assistance and onsite meeting management. She is based out of the Denver area, but has traveled all over the world for work. Her distinctive skills are her immense knowledge of locations and vendors, the ability to understand client’s desires and hopes, thoroughness and attention to detail – all with a warm and friendly approach. Her hobbies include trail running, painting, biking, gardening, snowboarding and telemark skiing.
