Working with Clean Plate Pictures - Becks and our second photographer, Lee! - was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They kept our nerves in check, held to our schedule, reminded us of things that we'd discussed, and really helped us to capture the overwhelming joy and emotion of the whole day - from intimate wedding ceremony to wedding party portraits to reception to exuberant dancing. As a couple who never had professional photos taken before and were nervous about hiring a photographer--investing in photography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Erica is such a a pro. It's not just the quality of her compositions and her understanding of light and the beautiful editing and her ability to capture life and movement--its also her ability to cue you as a couple and help subtlety direct your wedding day. Having a pro like Erica there for your wedding brings you so much peace and ease. She knows how all things wedding works. She knew how to direct the day and keep us on schedule while working efficiently to capture all the pictures we wanted. Erica helped us with so many details--from helping my husband pick out the right color socks for our wedding day to pinning on his boutiner. She gently--yet efficiently--coaches you on how to pose to look your best and helps you relax during your couple photos. During our reception, she was always following the energy in the room and positioning herself to capture the most breathtaking and charming candids. We've only received our teaser photos from Clean Plate Pictures but we would honestly be overjoyed with our wedding pictures if these were all the images we had from our wedding day. The people who have seen our teaser pictures all say that these are the best wedding photos they're ever seen. We highly, highly recommend Erica and her team.

Erica and Lee were incredible photographers for our wedding day! Erica is super organized with payment plans, details, and questionnaires leading up to the event. Both, Erica and Lee, were warm and welcoming the day of our wedding. They made posing in front of the camera easy with their guidance and encouragement. Hiring Erica (and Lee!) for our big day was truly the best decision we made. They not only kept our timeline on track but kept the spirits high when it was POURING during our pictures and ceremony. We honestly could not have had our wedding without them. They were super helpful on the actual wedding day and our sneak peak pictures are to die for. I feel like wedding pictures are usually so cheesey and posed but Erica and Lee really captured the energy of the day. Stop searching for photographers and hire Clean Plate Pictures! We had the absolute best experience working with Erica and her team. Every shot that they took is frameable! We didn’t have a videographer and with Erica’s photos, we don’t regret it at all. Our wedding album looks like it should be in a bridal magazine.

My husband and I had never done professional pictures before and she posed us perfectly. She gave such good directions and made the process very easy and enjoyable. There weren’t any awkward poses. We both have very big families and coordinating them is like herding cats. Erica was able to get all of the shots that we asked for with ease. She took control of the situation and got everyone where they needed to be. The whole family photo process was quick and painless.

In addition to her amazing photography skills, she is extremely kind and professional. We really enjoyed getting to know her. She was always quick to respond to our emails and giving us back the finished photos. If I ever need a professional photographer again, I won’t hire anyone other than Clean Plate Pictures.

If you are the least bit uncomfortable having your picture taken, hire Clean Plate Pictures. My husband and I do not like being photographed, but Erica is so calm, smart, and good at what she does that I didn't have to think or overanalyze what I looked like. And our photos are gorgeous--you can't tell how nervous we were that day!
I could tell off the bat that Erica was very good at her job. I felt cared for during our video calls, and she made a thorough and thoughtful shot list for all of our various portraits. While I felt I knew Erica well by the time of the wedding, I met the second photographer on the big day. I felt comfortable with Lee right away, he was a joyful presence!
Erica and her team know when to be sentimental, but they also know when to get down to business and just make your uncles stand still for a family shot. And their pictures (which now cover our apartment walls) are clear, clean, bright, and beautiful. I will love these photos forever!

Clean Plate Pictures shot our wedding on April 9th, 2022 and we couldn't be happier with how the day went! Elle and Kait were our photographers, and they were great! Clean Plate Pictures recently shot our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. Erica was super organized and professional in organizing all the details. I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Erica is! Erica was the first vendor we booked after our venue. We knew exactly what we wanted our pictures to look like, and Erica's pictures were it. Her style is incredible. We wanted mainly candid pictures and limited staged pictures. Erica was so patient and flexible with us with our many changes due to COVID. We changed venues and dates multiple times and she always worked to accommodate us. We had a call a few months prior to the wedding to go over timeline, pictures, etc. and Erica helped us so much with everything. She had suggestions that far exceeded the photography! She was explaining to us the importance of being comfortable in our outfits and inspired my wife to change her outfit completely from her dress to a jumpsuit instead. She felt so much more herself on our wedding day thanks to Erica! On the day of our wedding, Erica worked seamlessly to get all of the pictures we wanted. When we got our album, we were completely blown away. She captured our day perfectly. We could not have asked for better pictures. We also ordered a lot of other things from Erica's websites such as prints and metal prints and everything came out amazing. Erica also did our album which we received in the mail last week. It is laid out so well and really high quality. It's so fun having an album to look back on! Erica is truly one of a kind. Thank you for everything!!

Erica is the absolute best. She's incredibly talented, and all of her photos are beautiful and totally unique. Due to COVID postponements, we were lucky enough to hire her twice—first for our tiny, private, COVID-safe ceremony in December 2020, and then again for our bigger celebration in March 2022. At both events she perfectly understood our personalities and styles, and expertly directed us to get knockout photos that we are obsessed with. She went particularly above and beyond to shoot our ceremony—we originally asked her to just shoot some portraits outside because of COVID, but then she researched the Airbnb listing we were at and figured out a way to photograph our ceremony with a long lens from the back window! She is a total professional who makes everyone feel comfortable, and she was so fun and easy to work with throughout the (two year!) process. Definitely hire her!
