About
Congratulations!  You’ve come to the right place for your wedding ceremony Officiant.   I am Rev. Bonnie Kelly.    For a modest fee with devoted service,  I offer seculer and non-secular ceremonies according to your preference.  I offer many innovative ideas that make your ceremony unique, memorable, and inspirational; yet as traditional as you would like it to be.    I take the stress out of planning the ceremony itself.  If you do not have a wedding planner, I fully direct the rehearsal as well as all portions of the ceremony on your big day.    I have an active  interspiritual  outreach ministry.   Weddings are a joyous part of my work.  Book your date quickly , as my calendar fills  to capacity every wedding season!  We will have fun planning your day!   You deserve the quality attention you will receive from me, as your Officiant.   Feel free to contact me for more information, or go to my web site for further details.

Frequently Asked Questions for Officiant
What officiant services do you provide?
Civil Union, Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Same Sex

What religious affiliations do you serve?
Agnostic, Christian (no denomination), Christian - Anglican, Christian - Baptist, Christian - Episcopalian, Christian - Lutheran, Christian - Methodist, Christian - Presbyterian, Christian - Quaker

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
No

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Yes, in fact the majority of ceremonies I perform are at reception halls, parks, homes, backyards, or non-denominational settings.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Absolutely. Every detail of the ceremony is covered, and amended per the preferences of each couple. No detail is left to chance.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes, plus I offer many choices of vows to help the couple either compose their own, or choose the vows that are just right for them.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
I have many to choose from, but the are optional.y Couples may provide readings they have found themselves. they may also invite friends or families to give the readings.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No, I do not. But I do offer two free sessions before the wedding for couples who might want to take advantage of that service.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Of course! I encourage rehearsals and perform them at no extra charge. A rehearsal takes much of the stress out of the main event! In my experience, many problems which have occurred during ceremonies were the direct result of not holding a rehearsal or at least a quick run-through.

Additional Questions and Answers
What is my fee?
I ask for $250 all inclusive.  I have found that every wedding, not matter what the size,  entails exactly the same devotion and time from me.  Therefore, I do not have different levels of service.  Each couple gets the attention they need and deserve.  The number of guests, number of attendants,  or  length of the ceremony actually make no difference at all in my preparations.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, I ask for a $50 deposit, cash or check if on a local bank, at our planning meeting.  This is fully refundable until 30 days before the wedding.

Will we sign a contract?
Yes, we will sign an agreement at our first planning meeting.  Feel free to contact me for a pre-meeting copy should you wish to look it over.

What are your credentials?
Please see my web site for a full list of my education, ordination, experience, and association credentials.   I am an ordained minister as well as Doctor of Divinity though several years of study.

How many ministers does Circle of Life Ministry have?
This ministry  is my own independent community spiritual outreach program.     This work has been a dream of mine for many years.   For weddings, I have a gentleman minister who fills in when needed or  when a male Officiant is requested.   I also maintain a list of asscoiate ministers who may step in should there be an emergency.   Please contact me for further details.  All the various activities and services of Circle of Life Ministry are listed on my web site.

Tips and Advice
Book as early as possible before your ceremony.  My calendar fills to capacity early in the year.

When considering your Officiant, realize that performing a beaufiful  meaningful ceremony involves much more than simply arriving that day and reading the words.    The right minister will remove your stress over the ceremony, offer  a detailed personal planning meeting,  will  take over the details,  will send you reminders and updates, will give you many hours of preparation, and simply be there for you in all respects.   I am this wedding Officant.   I go the extra mile out of love for the work, and a conviction that this is the tender loving care you need and deserve on your day.

If you do not have a wedding planner,  I act in that capacity for the ceremony itself.  I direct the ushers, attendants, and family during the rehearsal as well as on the big day.  I work with the musician or D.J., as well as the photographer.    Considering the cost of the wedding planner, this is value added.  Make sure your Officiant is willing to go the extra mile for you.
