Charles Sawyer, Jr. has always enjoyed anything having to do with art, especially the connection between art and photography. This passion led him to study graphic design & photography at the Art Institute of Chicago and Chicago State University where he became a skilled graphic designer & photographer. In 2004, Charles opened a web design firm, CS2 Media, Inc., where he incorporated his photography throughout numerous branding projects. After receiving all he could from the design industry Charles decide to focus solely on photography, video and corporate design. Chase Charles Photography© became his outlet in the creative world of graphic design, photography & cinematography.

Charles is fascinated by anything and everything having to do with advertising, which shows up in his unique style of shooting. Charles is known for his ability to blend rich elements of color into refreshing, fun and contemporary settings.

Chase Charles Photography began in 2010, as a husband/wife team. The team loves having fun, traveling, getting to know clients, and portraying them in photography and video projects.

Back at the home front, Charles also enjoys working side by side with his creative team to dream up new ideas and designs in the photography/design world and beyond.

Charles’ most cherished place in life is his role as a husband and dad, which is what truly inspires his soul. Whether it’s shooting short films, designing advertising campaigns or photographing Uncle Bob getting down on the dance floor, Charles have continued to improve at being the best at his craft.
