About Us

“Wedding Photographer Weds Wedding Planner” was the headline when Paul and Nicole Kestel tied the knot. Paul and Nicole met at their church college group while Paul was studying photography at Hawkeye Community College and Nicole was a Honeymoon Specialist for a local travel agency and a Wedding Coordinator for their church. Paul noticed Nicole’s creative eye and trained her in the art of photography. The couple then started Catchlight Imaging, an artistic photography studio.

The Philosophy of Catchlight Imaging is that photography should be simple, fun, & artistic and our work should bring glory to God. This means bringing out the unique God given personality of an individual. Our style of photography is very current and illustrative. We want our photos to be ones that could be art on your wall for many generations.
