We needed someone to photograph our intercultural wedding (Western and Indian) who would be sensitive to the various cultural events and requirements. Our wedding planner directed us to the Carpenters, and I'm so glad she did! The Carpenters photographed our Indian Hindu wedding, lunch, and reception one day, and Western Christian ceremony and brunch the next day. They made us feel comfortable, and the time we spent with them was my favorite part of the two days. Even though my husband normally hates having his picture taken and we didn't have time to do an engagement session to get to know each other, Melody got to know us over the phone beforehand and then made us look fabulous on our wedding days! I cannot recommend the Carpenters enough - I love the photos so much and am so glad that we hired them.

Melody and Jeremy are more than just photographers! They help with every aspect of your day down to the finest detail. It's like having an event coordinator / photographer / planner all wrapped in one! They go above and beyond every time.

Mel and Jeremy are an absolute pleasure to work with and were able to capture our wedding day beautifully! We could not have asked for more from them--and they were willing to tweak our package a bit to include a photo booth--not something many photographers would do!

I don't know how else to explain our experience with Melody & Jeremy other than AMAZING! We had both engagement pictures and wedding pictures taken with them, and at first I really wasn’t excited because I don't like getting my picture taken. However Melody made it so comfortable for us, it felt like it was just my fiancé and I (at the time of the engagement pictures) walking around downtown. That first experience was so enjoyable that I actually looked forward to taking the pictures on the wedding day! After our experience with Melody and Jeremy we are looking forward to the next big event in our lives so we can have them take pictures for us again. We LOVED them!

Melody & Jeremy Carpenter went above and beyond on my wedding day, not to mention took the best pictures I could have imagined. I live out of state and was getting married in Indiana, so I wouldn't have known where to start. But I had been in another wedding in Indiana where Carpenter was the photographer, and was so impressed not only with the quality of pictures my friend had received from them, but remember how friendly and attentive they had been the entire day. Not only do my friends from California constantly comment about how well our own pictures came out, but are always disappointed when I tell them my photographer is in Indiana (b/c they know they can't use them!). On top of everything else, they were service to the max on our big day - making sure we were happy with everything, getting everything right and adding those little touches here and there that we'll never forget (from finding my sister for me to help w/ my veil before the reception, to giving us pointers on how to cut the cake for our big moment - who knows how to do that?!), they were so helpful and I felt like I had a friend looking out for us. They are a definite for a perfect wedding!

Jeremy and Melody are a wonderful photography team. They are personable, flexible, and understanding. They work well together. They made the day of the wedding so much easier and less stressful.

The Carpenters are a fantastic couple, and they are very good at what they do. You truly build a relationship with them, beginning with booking. Most of the packages include an engagement session, which further help to build the relationship. By the wedding day, it is an extreme comfort to know that your photographers are going to take care of their part, and also that they are such sweet friends. All of my family and friends just rave about our pictures, and I love them so much! They have many samples of their own work to look at and they are flexible to ensure that they got the shots that YOU want! I can't say enough good things!
