I have been in awe of Cakes by Cory for years. Whether it is for a birthday, baby shower, or wedding, Cory's ability to create an artistic masterpiece through a cake has left me a dedicated client for a lifetime. Cory evaluated every aspect of our wedding plans and ideas to create our cake. I gave no direction and simply instilled my trust in her to create something perfect. Perfect doesn't begin to describe the flawless cake she created for us. Her hands are like a precious jeweler when it comes to creating intricate detailed sugar fixtures for your cake. To top it off, she has a natural instinct to combine flavors that will blow your mind. We chose to have alternating layers with 2 different flavors. You can never go wrong with her classic lemon cake with blackberry preserves and Grand Marnier butter cream, but I cannot rave enough about her Guinness chocolate cake with sea salted toasted pecans and espresso butter cream. The latter was the first to go and it will be the flavor I will order for every event from now on. It was an absolute flavor burst in your mouth, super moist, and not an overwhelming amount of chocolate. I think the combination of Guinness and chocolate were definitely the trick! With Cory, there's always the perfect balance whether it is in her design or flavors! THUMBS UP AND FIST PUMPS FOR CAKES BY CORY!!!

The cake that Cory made for us was the most amazing cake I have ever tasted! She suggested a lemon cake with a blackberry preserve filling and a Grand Marnier buttercream icing...UNBELIEVABLE!!! She is truly an artist. When we were feeding each other the first bites of cake, I wanted to eat my husband's too because it was so tasty!

Cake was very beautiful and she did an amazing job. Only problem was my cake was dry. It matched all the docorations and was the design I wanted. She did a wonderful job especially since we just talked over the phone.
