Located in a country setting just 45 minutes east of Atlanta, Burge will deliver the wedding of your dreams. Burge is an historic site with the traditional charm and romance of its rich past yet modern in its facilities and services. Family owned since 1809, Burge was placed on the National Record of Historic Places in 2000.
Your ceremony can be held on the front steps of the Main House (shown right), under the stately oaks in the front yard or behind the house in the formal garden.
Your reception will be held in and around the elegant Burge Conservatory and its gracious covered terrace – all together 3200 square feet, all of which can be either heated or cooled depending on the weather. Surrounding the Conservatory and Main House are specious lawns and gardens as well as two additional pavilions. Two cottages are included for use by the wedding party – one for the bride and the other for the groom and their respective attendants.
