When I came to this dress shop it was the first of three so I was very excited. I found my dress by the second one but waited until we shopped at the other two stores before I came back for it. Yvonne was very helpful and not being pushy at all. Some stores you feel like they are being pushy and only trying to sell and I did not feel this way here. The main issue was obvious, they "moved" locations but then never ended up reopening their Orlando location. At first this was very stressful to me because they literally shipped my dress to my house. I felt like, now what? They were helpful in the fact that they gave me 2 recommendations of alteration places but one of them never responded to me. The other one, Katie, used to be Bijou's primary alterations staff member so I went to her since she was going to honor the price. She did an amazing job!

I do not know if this shop will open again in Orlando, but if they do I would absolutely recommend them because they have quality dresses, great service, and affordable prices.

First off, I LOVED my dress! It was absolutely stunning and I received compliments on it from everyone! However, the experience at this particular store was not good to say the least. My first time there was enjoyable - they were very helpful, took their time, made me feel special, everything was good. I picked the dress 8 months out and they said it normally takes 6 months to get it in. So I wait. And wait. And wait. I call 3 times and they kept telling me it still hadn't arrived and they would be sure to call me. But we're about 5 weeks before the wedding so I'm starting to worry. Finally it comes in, and I do my first fitting. They tell me the alterations will get started and then I'll have another fitting in a week or 2. I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks, so I call. They ask me if I can pick up my dress that day because they lost their leasing space and all the dresses were going to be shipped to Miami THAT NIGHT. I'm 2 hours away from the store and at work, so no, I couldn't just swing by and pick it up. I sent my mom and she said she walked in and the whole store was cleaned out and the dresses were being put into a Penske truck in the back. Luckily she was able to get my dress, but the alterations hadn't even been started. And if I hadn't called, my dress would have been shipped to Miami without me even knowing 2 weeks before my wedding with no alterations. I was FLOORED! They also told me all alterations were included in the $300 alteration fee, and we found out that it only covered the basics - basically a bustle and minor alterations. The dress was beautiful, but the service was poor - especially the communication. I've heard other stores are better with services, but just give yourself PLENTY of time so you don't feel rushed at the end if things don't go smoothly.
