Owner and designer Alicia Schwede opened Bella Fiori in 2003 as an outlet for her love of flowers, which she gained as a young child working alongside her grandmother in the rose garden.

In addition to running her shop, Alicia is the chairwoman of the Denver Art Museum's Flower Council. She has studied with numerous floral designers throughout the USA and Europe, many with AIFD designation. She has been the recipient of many floral honors, including the 2005 People's Choice award for best table design from Entertaining Colorado Style. In 2006, she made Manchester's Who's Who list. Bella Fiori has been named in numerous publications, including Confetti Magazine & Modern Bride. In 2005, Elegant Bride cited Alicia as a top floral designer for weddings in the country.

Bella Fiori utilizes exquisite flowers from across the globe, including items rarely seen in today's designs. Alicia's signature style is English Garden, a romantic style that allows her to use wonderful natural materials, like berries, twigs, fruit and vegetables.
