Since its original founding as the Union House in 1888, the Bavarian Inn has been offering an extraordinary blend of great German food and hospitality in Frankenmuth. As the years have passed, we’ve added the Lodge and Conference Center and over 20 retail locations to the family holdings, but our traditions of quality, service and fun; begun over 100 years ago still hold true. We have always been family owned and operated, with three generations currently involved. The jewel of the family, Dorothy Zehnder, at 88 years young, still runs the kitchen six days a week!
