I am an event planner by trade, but when it came to our wedding this past July, I knew I needed someone who knew the ins-and-outs of weddings and could help to execute my vision. I knew I also wanted someone who had experience in both Indian weddings (specifically Punjabi Sikh weddings) and western style weddings as well. Purvi coordinated both our Gurdwara ceremony and lunch on Friday and then our western ceremony and reception on Saturday. Purvi really fit the bill - she was very experienced and organized and she also had a lot of knowledge of how both Punjabi Sikh weddings and western weddings should run. Furthermore, I am a strong believer that you don't need to be rude or pushy to get the job done. Purvi was direct and efficient (as is required to keep things on schedule) but kind, professional and SO responsive. I cannot emphasize how key this is and how RARE it was to find someone who responded right away to any questions or concerns I had. I like how Purvi's day-of coordination package comes with working with her for the month prior because there are a lot of details to iron out and you need that time to get to know each other and for her to get to know the event. I would say if you don't have a lot of experience planning events, working with vendor contracts, thinking through event details, that you should hire Purvi for the full event planning because she will really make sure your event and the event-planning process goes smoothly for you. We loved working with Purvi and would 10/10 would hire her again - but hopefully won't need to do that!!

We provided the horse for the baraat at the wedding. Purvi and her team where great with getting us organized and starting in good time. Easy to work with look forward to working with again.

Purvi is wonderful to work with! I hired her for the day-of event planning and was very pleased with how she and her team orchestrated every aspect of the day. She instilled confidence in my family and me that she and her team would take care of things on the day of the wedding so we could relax and just enjoy the day.

Before the event, she was always available to answer any questions we had, thought partner with us about the logistics of the day, etc. Another plus is that she worked well with our other wedding vendors.
