I do offer black and white proofs and digital files based on what we feel the image looks best as.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have shot in almost every possible scenario and are comfortable with them all as well. I have shot in candlelight, low light, overcast, very sunny, cloudy, window lighting, impartial lighting, strobe lighting, and at night.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot 100% digital. I do like to shoot film as a hobby however.
How many photographers do you work with?
I always have an assistant at weddings, but depending on the package you select, there may be a second photographer included.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am the photographer at every event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Absolutely not. I reserve the day for the event booked and nothing else.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
While it is very unlikely that I will not be available on the day, but in the slim chance that that is what happens, I have several photographer friends and colleagues what I trust, that would be willing to step in for me.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I have several lenses, camera bodies, and lighting equipment that I bring to every wedding.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We charge for the full day with options to add on hours. We have packages for 4, 6, 8 and unlimited hours based on your needs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do take a break or two consisting of no more than 15 minutes. Usually it is to grab a quick piece of food or water to replenish and increase my energy.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge travel when it's more than 50 miles away. Travel fees may vary depending if I am going out of state or out of the 50 mile radius.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready to view online within 3 weeks of the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
They are available to view and purchase online through a password protected viewing gallery website set up by Collages.net.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
They are available online for 60 days.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I do retain the copyright. However, the digital files are given personal rights for you to print and share them.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
The digital files are given to the bride and groom with every package.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, proof images are available to view on an online gallery through Collages.net within 3 weeks of the event and then for 60 days after posting.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I currently have magazine style albums, flush mount hand crafted albums, and folios available for purchase.
When will the client get the final album?
Delivery depends on how long it take to select your photos for it, or for designing reasons
