Ache de Barrio was created by seasoned musicians, husband and wife team Cesar and Ruth, in 2006. After relocating from Miami, Florida to the Rio Grande Valley Cesar and Ruth decided it was time to bring the hot live Latin sounds of the caribbean to the Valley. Armed with a full brass and percussion section along with exceptional vocals and stage presence they have quickly become the hottest band for hire!!! They never fail to make the crowds go wild!!! "Grupo Ache" as their fans refer to the band, have opened for headliners Spanish Harlem Orchestra and Poncho Sanchez at the nationally-accredited Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival. Grupo Ache continues to perform at music festivals, community events, corporate parties, private events, and at nightclubs. They are currently working on several projects in and out of the recording studio.
