Jessica was such a blast to work with for our engagement photos and I'm really excited to see how our wedding photos turn out in a few months. Neither my fiance or I like taking pictures but looking through the photos you could barely tell. She was very prompt returning emails and was willing to answer any questions we sent her way.

Update: Our wedding pictures are gorgeous and again she was a lot of fun to work with. I've gotten a lot of comments from everybody about how great the pictures look.

My new husband and I were thrilled to have Jessica Weischedel from 283 Photography capture our special day. We know Jess and we have seen her work, so we knew she would do an incredible job, but we had so much fun working with her as she took photos for the wedding. She was so animated and enthusiastic and game for our various pose ideas (even though she was 8 months pregnant!). She is clearly passionate about the work she does.

My bridesmaids and I got ready at my apartment and there was not really a good place to hang the dress to get nice photos, Jess was like, "no problem!" and wrapped the dress up in a sheet and took it outside to take some photos against a tree! She was also very patient with my other friends/family members who kept getting in her way, trying to snap their own photos.

She was professional in her preparation procedures and responsive to our emails and questions.

I would recommend her to anybody needing special event photos!

Jess with 283 photography was so fun to work with for our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! She has tons of unique ideas so that your photos are like all the photos you typically see. She is organized and flexible and works with you to make sure that you get images that you really want to. And she loves doggies, so our puppy was more than welcome for all of our photos, which made it just that much better! She really goes above and beyond to make it the best of the best!

Jessica is an extremely talented photographer and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the wedding photos. Not only is she talented but she is professional and is very good in a "crisis." We had a major hiccup on the day of our wedding which changed the timeline drastically providing for a significantly smaller window of time for taking photos. She somehow managed to get everything done by responding quickly. All of this was accomplished without compromising the quality of the photos. I would most definitely recommend her.

I first spotted Jessica's photography at a family friends wedding and I instantly loved her work so when it came time to find a photograper for my own engagement pics and wedding it was hard to look at anyone elses. I live in Iowa so it made more since to choose a photographer from Iowa rather than South Dakota but I just couldn't do it.....nothing else compared. We traveled to South Dakota to have our engagement pictures taken and met Jessica for the first time she made us feel very comfortable and our engagement pictures were amazing! She then came to Iowa when it was time for our wedding and she did not miss one detail about the wedding and the reception. Every single picture is perfect! There is no other photographer I would ever recomend she is soooo wonderful! Also I was nervous about doing the "first look" before the ceremony and Jessica answered all of my questions and helped me decide on whether we should do it or not. Anytime I had questions or emailed her her responses were very quick and helpful! If you are looking for a photographer and you are near or far away Jessica is the one I would say to get you will not be dissapointed and she is worth every penny! The pictures are the most important part of the entire day.....it is what will keep your memories going so if you want someone who can capture every part of that day perfectly 283 Photography is the way to go!!!!

We could not have asked for more from the photographer for my daughter's wedding. Jessica captured the feel and essance of the day. The wedding day can be such a blur for the couple so to have such great pictures to look back on has been a great joy. It amazes me that she caught some very special moments that she only had a couple seconds to capture...she was so aware of what to capture and we did not even know she was at the wedding..she did such a great job of being invisiable but got done what we needed. When my daughter got engaged we were aware of the disappointments/stress that so many people we knew had with their wedding photographers. My husband and I decided to go with Jessica at 283 Photography after viewing her photos that she took of a friends’ wedding. We noticed her incredible eye for unique shots that we felt, no local photographer would have been able to provide for us.
