Kene, he was amazing to work with! Very flexible with scheduling and time frames. Very personable, fun, energetic and professional! He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. He made it fun! He captured every detail, from scenery, interactions with friends and family, and, of course, us! Our guests even told us how awesome he was! He took so many photos, he went above and beyond to make lasting memories of our special day that we will always cherish and look back on. I would recommend Kene Photography 100%!!

From the very beginning, working with our photographer was an absolute dream. He was organized, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera which is saying a lot because we’re not naturally “posey” people! We can't wait for him to capture our wedding day!

Kene photography was our best vendor of everyone at the wedding. The planner, caterer, DJ did not hold a candle to this man's dedication to detail and mastery of his craft.

Kene went above and beyond to straighten my tie that I wish I had invested in a tie clip, but looking at the end results... just wow! We booked his 2 photographer package and it was worth every penny. Kene and his wife were an awesome team and captured absolutely phenomenal photos.

I really cannot say enough good things about Kene: his dedication to making sure we got what we wanted from the meeting before the wedding to just asking what else we wanted so we would be satisfied on the wedding. He wasn't trying to ditch early like others and really made us feel professionally servtting

Met Kene at the wedding expo in Rapid City in early 2025. He had the best price and availability. His photos looked good too at his display. My Fiancé and I signed up. Leading up to the wedding Kene did a great job of communication and working with my wife on the packages, so we got what we wanted. My wife asked for 5 specific things. 1. Veil over the couple 2. Couple of blurry photos of bride and bride and groom 3. Statement piece with bridesmaids 4. Photos of groomsmen and groom getting ready 5. Faceless photos 6. Groomsmen to create "speeches" to the groom in a video format.

Wedding kicked off and Kene showed up early. We proceeded through the event and didn't think much of it as they were everywhere. But, I did notice there was no control during the wedding. Just taking shots and not organizing anyone or getting groups together. Our wedding was 06/14/2025. The photos were delivered 07/06/2025 which again was pretty good timing. After getting the photos my wife and I sat down and went through them. We were not impressed. I personally would say over 50% of the pictures were unusable which were handpicked ones. Out of the 6 requests we got #3 and part of #4. #1 not a single photo of veil over the bride or bride and groom. #2 no blurry shots of bride/bride and groom. #5 no faceless photos and #6 This was the most disappointing and honestly infuriating piece of all. We received the wedding video 09/29/2025. Honestly the video was pretty good, but that is because Kene photography didn't do it, but had to hire someone else to do it even though Kene said he is the editor and that is what he got degree in. Along with the wedding video we received a message that Kene Photography had lost, or had it deleted or it got corrupted all my groomsmen speeches. I have known these men from the time I could talk and throughout life ranging from 8 years of friendship to 30. Now, I never get to see what my groomsmen wanted to say to me. Think about that for one second and let it sink in. I NEVER get to live it or see it. These guys traveled from 7 other states and other countries and the only video I got was from the one that couldn't make it but took the time send me a video himself. Did I get a generic apology? Yes, I did. Did we get excuses? Yes, we did. Did we get an offer to refund some expense? Absolutely not. Also, I did not have 1 SINGLE USABLE family photo from either family. I had to go pay an editor money to edit my own damn wedding photos so my mom could hang something on the wall. There were some good shots and some beautiful ones, but overall, my wife and I are highly disappointed with Kene photography. I am still contemplating taking them to small claims because they lost a core memory that I will never get, never get to revisit and we spent over a 1/3 of our budget on them for the wedding.
