The Hotel has two Ballrooms to host your wedding events. The Starlite Ballroom is on the tenth floor and has views of downtown Sioux Falls and Big Sioux Falls River. It accommodate up to 350 guests. The Falls Ballroomt is the largest space located on the main floor and can accommodate 400 people for a seated dinner reception.

An Amazing Experience!

Our guest count was going to max the space the room was going to hold, but her and her team were flexible and determined we would make it work. In our final meeting with the banquet coordinator, Kellen, he confirmed he would be appropriately staffed for the day so guests wouldn’t be waiting on plates to be bussed and next part or the meal to be served. And boy did they execute dinner perfectly! Salads served, plates bussed, dinner served, plates bussed, water and coffee refilled, all timely and done within 1-1.5 hours as planned. It was so smooth!
And the best part, at the end of the night, we didn’t have to worry about taking down any decorations or cleaning anything up. The Holiday Inn staff does it all for you. We were able to walk out and down to our complimentary suite without touching a thing. The next morning our things were all packed up, including our wedding cake they refrigerated for us overnight, and ready for us to take home. Patty, Kellen and the entire Holiday Inn City Centre team were a dream to work with, making our day perfect!
No need to worry about a thing!

The Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Sioux Falls is a great place for your next event. They have very professional and courteous staff and a one of a kind room with an amazing view in the Starlite Ballroom. You have to check this place out!
I love when a couple chooses Holiday Inn City Centre as their wedding reception venue! It is a beautiful environment, and melds into what each couple wants it to look like for their celebration. It is a very unique look and feel, with a beautiful chandelier and the option to have a lot of window light or no light coming in at all. Any wedding reception I've photographed there has been absolutely breathtaking.
I love the Holiday City Centre, I rented their rooms for my out of town guests during my wedding in 2008. I chose it because of its proximity to Falls Park & Phillips ave & I wanted my guests to really see the heart & history of Sioux Falls. The rooms were beautiful & they had access to all the great restaurants, shopping & nightlife within walking distance that we have to offer. They also have several event room selections of all sizes & do onsite catering & the staff was very helpful with my wedding planning.
